If you are looking for a true beachfront vacation then this is the place! Our property has direct access to a beautiful secluded sandy beach in a residential area. 15% off 7+ day bookings. We will only accept reservations for a minimum of 2 nights with a maximum of 8 guests AT ANYTIME (6 overnight guests). We are not overlapping guests, meaning we will not allow a check in/check out on the same day to be sure we can clean thoroughly and be ready for the next group. Rancho Tranquilidad is a large walled property with parking available within the gates to ensure privacy and security. There are two separate bedrooms each with a toilet, hot shower and air conditioning. We have provided linens and clean rooms for your comfort and piece of mind. There is satellite TV, wifi and DVD players in the bedrooms. The rest of the property is sheltered but open air to take full advantage of the tropical heat and beautiful sounds and views of the Pacific Ocean. There is a stocked kitchen with gas BBQ available for cooking the delicious fresh seafood readily available in the area. The large private pool is clean and well maintained. We have on-site staff who live in a separate building on the same property. If you are not comfortable with this set-up then please do not book your stay with us. The caretakers provide 24 hour security and maintain the pool and yard. Our house is about 30 mins from the San Salvador airport and about 35 mins from the city of San Salvador. Located close to La La Libertad and Surf City which are a short 7 min drive. La Libertad has a super selectos grocery store available. There are several rental car companies located at the airport or we can organize transport for airport pickup for max 4 people for $60US. We have parking inside the gates of our property for one vehicle and there is street parking outside the gates if necessary. Letty (the wife) doesn't speak much english but is super friendly and can help with anything you need. The caretakers will change the sheets and clean the floors as required, but I ask that guests do their own dishes please. Neris (her husband) speaks some english and is also available for most any request. A lot of things are available in the area; fruit, fresh bread, prepared food, beer, or there is a large grocery store located a short 7 minute drive or 15 minute bus ride from the house. Neris can give you directions on how to get there or provide transport services with his own vehicle if you would like to pay him to drive you there. Playa San Diego is mostly residential with a few tiendas (small stores), local public pools/restaurants and roughly 1 block from the police post. There is also world class surfing within a few miles of our property. There is a local bus that can take you directly to the grocery store for $0.50US. Transportation can be arranged to most anywhere in El Salvador, just ask. There are 2 friendly dogs that live on the property, they listen quite well and won't bother you much if you don't pay attention to them. We love animals and stray neglected dogs are a problem in El Salvador so we are proud to be giving them a home. The ocean is very strong out front of our property, especially at high tide. Please use extreme caution if you are unfamiliar with ocean swimming as there have been deaths in the past. If you are not a strong swimmer please stick to the pool.
