Located in Woodbrook, a historic suburb in the western area of the capital, Port of Spain, Secret Haven TnT is a self-catering guest house suitable for business or pleasure. Guests are able to come and go as they require, enjoying independent living in a safe, pleasant, comfortable environment. Guests are welcome to use the rear courtyard. Washer and dryer are available for a fee of US$1.50 each per load. Someone will be in close range and available in the event of an emergency at all times during your stay. We can arrange airport pickups and drop-offs with a minimum 24-hour advance notification. There is an additional US$35-$45 charge each way for this service, paid directly to the taxi driver. We can also offer you advice and assistance with booking tours around our lovely twin-island nation, as well as suggestions for dining out, clubs, beaches, and other extra-curricular activities. Our convenient location just off of Ariapita Avenue offers our guests convenient access to all points of interest - the city's business districts, vibrant nightlife on the Avenue, boutique shopping, spectacular beaches, and world-class cuisine, both foreign and local. The Queens Park Oval, the National Stadium and MovieTowne Cinemas are all within 15 minutes easy walking distance, as are the St. Clair and Good Health Medical Centres, and the Brian Lara Cancer Treatment Centre. Nearby Victoria Square is one of the main judging stages for the Carnival Bands so one can indulge in as much of our famous street party as one desires. Various steelband groups (pan yards) are also nearby. The abundance of masquerade bands in Woodbrook makes it very easy for those playing mas' to connect with their bands or with friends who are participating in the celebration. Public transport is readily available to and from downtown Port of Spain if the 25 - 30 minute walk does not appeal. The PTSC buses run along Ariapita Avenue, and taxis run on both the Avenue and Wrightson Road. There are several car rental agencies in close proximity. Overnight parking on the street is free. On-site parking is limited and subject to US$5 fee for 24 hours. There is an elderly permanent resident on the property, so guests are expected to be mindful of their noise level, especially at night. Weekly linen changes and room cleaning. While we provide in-house linens and towels, we do not provide beach gear. Please bring your beach towels, sunscreen, and other items when you visit.
