During season (Jan-April) watch momma whales and their calfs jumping in the Aguada bay right from this house’s ocean view perch. Private aquamarine pool with relaxing ocean view just for you. The house is only about a 3-4 minute drive to the Aguada bay beachfront. Miles of swimmable, snorkeling, surf-able, uncrowded beachfront at your disposal. Pico de Piedra swimming beach is located here as well. In the late winter-early spring the wales return to the Caribbean and can be seen jumping and playing in the bay with their young. This can also be witnessed from the Airbnb’s ocean view perch. You’re going to love it! The back yard has a saltwater pool, ocean view, bbq grill, covered patio with outdoor furniture, parking for 2 cars but can accommodate more (up to 4) parked bumper to bumper. The whole house has beautiful vistas of the ocean or hillside. Also with 45 solar panels and 3 Tesla Power Walls you can feel good knowing you are using clean, sustainable energy while staying with us. And if the lights go out (which happens often on the island) you won’t be in the dark. House also has 1400 gallons of cistern water on reserve for the frequent water outages experienced on the island. **Always disclose and discuss any and all plans with host. Large or small. No unauthorized events, parties, etc allowed. Additional fees and deposits will apply for pre-approved events that exceed the number of guests the unit sleeps, for events that bring in outside catering, decorating, wait staff, etc… or other factors. You have access to the house, pool, yard, patio, balcony, parking at the top of the driveway (can fit up to 4 cars), street parking, and the beautiful ocean view! The Bnb is close to lots of restaurants, bars, and swimmable beachfront. Also very close to downtown Aguada (3-5min drive) where there is shopping, dining, and the historic town square where many local events are often held. We live in the same neighborhood as the Bnb and we are usually available to pop in and help if any issues arise. Don’t hesitate to contact us, as we are delighted to be of assistance. To maintain the best communication we ask that you turn on notifications for the Airbnb app and go into the app to read and send messages. Reading messages from your email inbox will exclude images and other details sent to you by your host, so be sure to always go into the app to review messages. Quiet and residential. Please be courteous of our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 10pm-8am. No loud music or noisy activities outside after 10pm out of respect to our neighbors. No parties allowed and no unregistered Airbnb guests allowed on the property at anytime without prior authorization from your host. This is for safety reasons due to the pool and drop off in the back. If you wish to bring additional people (who are not registered guests) please discuss with your host prior to avoid confusion. Thank you Host will send you a GPS pin to the house as well as all other relevant checkin instructions on your checkin date. The neighborhood is residential and you wind through quite a bit of neighborhood to get to the Airbnb. Watch out for speed bumps and water diversion trenches while driving. There are many and some can sneak up on you. ⚠️ Parents of small children be advised that there is a steep drop off in the back yard which is not fenced. Please watch your children and remember that you are renting this property at your own risk. ⚠️ Since the house is on top of a hill the driveway is on an incline. The top of the driveway where you park is flat, but you will need to back down the hill to reach the street. There is also street parking available. Also, we are just 30 minutes from Aguadilla airport so consider flying into this airport as opposed to San Juan which is a 3 hour drive from our location. Washer and drier available on the back patio. ⚠️ Be aware that there are lots of speed bumps on the road leading up to the bnb. A few that can creep up on you and are not very visible. Drive with caution. ⚠️ Take note that Puerto Rico has frequent power and water outages due to deteriorating infrastructure on the island. We have two water cisterns totaling 1400 gallons, and solar power with battery backup for these instances, but even these have their limitations. We do our best to keep everyone comfortable, but no refunds will be issued for power/water outages that happen frequently and unexpectedly. Keep in mind that at this is our home.
