As electricity costs in Nicaragua are some of the highest in the country we gladly allow 10 kw per day. Anything over 10kw will be $0.50 per kw. If you always turn off lights, Ac , and fans when you are not in the home you will be fine. If you are in the living room or kitchen remember to turn off all lights, fans and ac in bedrooms. 10kw per day is a great amount of electricity if you keep to this system. Maid service is highly recommended if you are staying more than 3 day. Service includes cleaning and washing of all sheets and blankets as well as any clothes you would like to be cleaned. Sweeping and mopping of all floors as well as full bathroom and kitchen cleaning. Cleaning cost for the day is $15 and must be arranged with Alvaro.
