As a stand alone house on it's own private property, you do you need to worry about sharing the space with other guests since you have the entire property to yourselves. At other properties with multiple rooms (condos, hotels, villas, etc.), you may be required to wear a mask around the pool, at the beach, and in all common spaces. Still Waters is the only house on our property (in addition to the separate care-taker unit in the back of the property); the home, pool, beach, staff, and all property amenities are all exclusive to you during your stay at Still Waters Belize! You do not need to race to claim your pool or beach chair, and with a live-in cook, nor is there a need to worry about preparing meals! The layout of this newly constructed 4 bedroom, 3 bath home creates an ideal space for both friends and families to share and enjoy, while the two-level configuration lends itself to privacy within a group. Each floor has two bedrooms, a living area, and spacious decks with amazing views of the Caribbean Sea. We offer three “Master” bedrooms, each with a king bed, private porch, and stunning ocean views.  The fourth bedroom is the bunk-room, with one queen bed and three single beds. Golf carts are the main mode of transportation on the island, and we highly recommend you rent one for your trip! We can help by having golf carts delivered to the house, or meet you at the San Pedro airport upon arrival to the island. Private parking is available inside our gated property. Two full time caretakers live on site and will be on the property for the duration of your stay. They offer daily cooking and cleaning services and can help you with your needs on the island. We can also assist with local travel arrangements, guides and excursions on you trip. Still Waters Belize is located in Mata Grande, a delightful residential area approximately 4 miles north of the bridge (San Pedro town). This is one of the few areas of the island where you can walk the beach, without divisions by fences and bulkheads, and where the water meets the sand offering a beach and not bulkhead or seawall. We are a quick 20 minute golf cart ride (and even shorter boat ride) to and from town, making it easy to go to town for shopping or dinner. However, there are several great restaurants and bars within walking distance (like Rojo Lounge, Sundiver Bar, Mambos at Mata Chica, etc.), and once you experience the peace and serenity that Still Waters offers, you may find yourself not wanting to leave the property! Mata Grande grocery store is a two minute walk away and also offers grocery delivery services. We encourage you to rental a golf cart during your stay, as golf carts are the main mode of transportation on the island. We will arrange to have your golf cart rental(s) waiting for you at the house upon arrival. Whether you envision your Belize vacation filled with island activities, rest and relaxation, or a perfect combination of both, we hope to provide all this and more at Still Waters Belize!  You can spend the day relaxing by the private pool or enjoying a good book in a hammock under a palm tree.  The house is stocked with several beach and ocean toys (no need to pay an hourly rate to rent a kayak), such as stand up paddle boards, kayaks, and corn holes so that you don't need to leave the property to explore the wonders of the sea!  We can also book fishing, snorkeling, diving, etc. trips and excursions with the best guides on the island and arrange for a professional massage on the beach or in the privacy of your bedroom.  Your golf cart rentals will be waiting for you upon arrival, and we can also book your flights or private boat transfers from Belize International Airport to San Pedro.  If you want a taste of local island cuisine from the privacy of our dining room, we offer cooking and catering services (for additional fee), meal delivery and grocery stocking (so that your kitchen is filled with your favorite foods & beverages when you arrive at the house after a long day of travel). We hope to make your Belize beach vacation easy, seamless, and unforgettable!  A Private Tropical Paradise: We have been visiting Ambergris Caye for over twenty years and hope to have incorporated all that is desired in a Belize vacation and beach house at Still Waters. 1. Location: close enough to town for an easy golf cart ride, yet far enough removed to feel like you are in your own island paradise. 2. Beach: There is an actual beach in front of our property, where the water meets the sand. (Many properties on the island have bulkheads). Our front yard is decorated with coconut palms, providing shade for the perfect hammock spot! For more action on the beach, we offer beach volleyball, corn holes, and other beach games! We are literally, steps away from the Caribbean Sea. 3. Pool: The pool offers a perfect place to cool off at the end of the day, sharing fishing, snorkeling, and dive stories with friends and family. Enjoy ocean views from the built in pool bench and wrap around deck. 4. Staff: Full time caretakers live on site and offer daily services such as cleaning (included in rate) and cooking. Cooking services are optional and can be arranged for an additional fee. 5. Two stand-up Paddle Boards, one tandem kayak, one youth kayak, four bikes, snorkel gear, yoga mats, beach volleyball, corn holes, bocce ball and other games are on the property and free for guests to use at their leisure. ********** COVID 19 Protocols for Belize: Your health and safety is our main priority on your trip. The Government of Belize has implemented protocols for travellers visiting Belize. These new protocols will affect your trip and we will detail them below for you: - You are required to stay at a Gold Standard Accommodation, and Still Waters has made this approval and is registered as "Besides Still Waters House". - You will need to present a negative Covid test upon arrival to Belize International Airport; either PCR test taken within 96 hours prior to your arrival to BZE or Rapid Antigen test taken within 48 hours prior to arrival to BZE. - If you cannot have a test done prior when you arrive in Belize, rapid tests are available at the BZE airport (at your expense about $50 USD). - Still Waters is equipped with amenities to allow you to enjoy your stay on property including: - Private pool - Beach - Fully equipped kitchen facilities - Food provisioning - Delivery services - Approved tour operators ***If you are traveling with a minor without both legal parents or guardians, the airlines may ask for a notarized letter from the parent/guardian not accompanying the child to grant permission for the child to enter Belize.
