It is ideal for a single person wishing to stay for an open period, or for a couple staying for up to 2 months. Besides the internal apartment space, the common roof top terrace and solarium offer a great complementary space. Our location couldn't be better, we are surrounded by restaurants, museums and the Tomebamba river down below for lovely walks. The main square is only 2 blocks away, so we are in the heart of the Old Town and where everything happens in town... The common areas in the building are a lovely roof top terrace and glass covered solarium which overlooks the Tomebamba river down below, the new town and surrounding mountains. We also have an inner courtyard with barbecue facilities with seating area to read and relax. We have a laundry room with washer and dryer for the use of our guests. Me and my family live in the same building, so I am always available for anything our guests need, not only things for their apartment, but also any tips on the city and things to do too. Working as a builder and living in the same building, guarantees that everything in the units works appropriately and under constant maintenance. People say "location, location" is key and that is what we simply offer. For shopping we have 2 or 3 small grocery shops in the same block, a colorful public market 2 blocks away great for shopping fruits and vegetables, and a large supermarket 10 min But if you prefer not to cook, the best restaurants and cafeterias in town are just a couple of blocks around our building. Cuenca offers high quality cultural activities such as concerts, symphony, art shows, etc and all those take place in our neighborhood If you like walking or jogging, we got the river green walkway right downstairs from our building, or even if you just want to relax watching the lovely scenery of this part of town We are 10 mins taxi ride from the airport and main bus terminal. Our location allows to simple move around by walking. But if you wish to go further out, taxis can be taken just outside our door, plus several bus lines pass by too. If renting for 7 days or less, we kindly ask our guest for an additional cost of $30 for cleaning services to be paid at arrival. The only thing you need in our apartments is to buy your own food, as everything else is included.
