This artist built, cute little hideaway up high on a breezy hill, commands views of the mountains in the distance. Christened The Nest because of the array of birds in the trees around it. Artistically designed for two, perfect sundeck, romantic and very private. Surrounded by a magical garden of palms and orchids yet situated in the heart of the busiest side of Grenada. The most secluded and prettiest beaches are all within easy reach and restaurants, bars and a bowling alley are a stroll away. The Nest is a modern custom built space specifically for solo travelers and travelling couples providing the maximum amount of style, comfort and privacy for a competitive rate. The location commands a wonderful hilltop view but within a very private, safe residential hidden corner of True Blue. This small jewel box apartment is sleek, stylish and filled with detailed, handcrafted design. The elevation of the free standing apartment provides constant trade winds and because of the palm filled garden really feels like one could be in the rain forest instead of being a stroll away from one of Grenada's busiest areas. The Nest has a custom built queen size bed with closet, shelves and dual power access and air conditioned bedroom. The bedroom has a tiltable flat screen TV and reading tape light with large padded back rest and oversized throw cushions for comfy viewing. The bathroom has a custom designed vanity sink and well-lit mirror and hair dryer with toilet and shower (solar water heating) and grey water utilization by plant watering. The kitchen/dining has dining for two and the kitchen has refrigerator, deep double sink, micro wave, top stove, toaster, utensils, crockery and cooking utensils. We also have a designated coffee station and a glorious hilltop view! The wooden deck is sunny, breezy, perfect for bird watching and has two classic Dedon loungers, there is also a cocktail table. The garden is fully fenced with gated entry. We provide toiletries and household cleaning products and stock the fridge with breakfast items. We also provide a safe for passport, valuable items etc. The shaded exterior lounging area with cushioned swings and surrounded by palms and ferns provides extra relaxation space and laundry facilities. The private entrance is at the top of wooden steps which are well lit in the evening. We leave a guide to Grenada and include helpful numbers to guests. We are on hand for any problems or enquiries to help make the guest's stay as perfect as possible...we love living in Grenada and want the world to feel the same way! Grenada is quite a quiet, laid back Caribbean island, often referred to as underdeveloped compared with its neighbouring islands. However, due to a few new larger hotel projects and more importantly the accelerating student body of the St Georges University Campus, which is located in True Blue, Grenada is getting busier. More to the point True Blue has seen new bars, shops, a marina and bowling ally which is all minutes walk from The Nest. They say location, location, location...The Nest has it! We are situated at the entrance to True Blue, minutes walk from the True Blue roundabout which is serviced daily with local minibuses every 5 minutes, getting you quickly to the world famous, two mile long Grand Anse beach or a little further into our tiny, historical capital city St Georges where there is a bus terminal which services the entire island. If you need a little more independence you can rent a car for the whole duration or just a day or two. Grenada has wonderful weather year round, with two seasons; the dry season and the rainy season. Obviously the dry season is a little hotter with endless sunny days and is when the tourism is at it's height. However, the rainy season is rarely a constant rain, more like a few intermittent cooling showers with prolonged rainfall lasting a day or two being less common. There are great flight deals during less peak times (peak being end of December through to Easter) and the weather is still tropically idyllic.
