Each sleeping cabin and hotel style room is fully private. Bathrooms are located in our centralized bathhouse which contains 4 private bath/toilet facilities inside. The bathhouse is the larger cabin building located at the most southern end of sleeping cabins. Guests have access to not only our property but also to driving trails, hiking, and exploring the roads of the famous 200,000 acre Terlingua Ranch of which Terlingua Nights Cabins is a part of. Guests can access the beautiful Terlingua Ranch Pool and hiking trails at Christmas Mountain by signing in at the Terlingua Ranch Lodge. A $5 fee is charged by the Terlingua Ranch Lodge for accessing the pool. Guests may request either: (1) full individual access to and from cabins or (2) can request to be greeted by our local host. A local host with over 40 years of living experience in Terlingua is available for questions, orientation to the area, dining recommendations and can even cook and provide food or meals for you by request (additional fee per meal). We are conveniently located directly off of Highway 118 as you enter into Terlingua and downtown Study Butte. We are directly across from the Chili Pepper Restaurant, Post Office and Bank! Your location does not get any more central than this! All restaurants, bars, shopping, galleries, stables, jeep tours, river rafting, canoeing, live music, the Ghost Town, private Terlingua airport, and LaJitas are just minutes away and within easy access. Public transportation is limited as this is a remote area of Texas. A unique and fun experience is to take the train into Alpine, Texas from Houston, San Antonio or other starting locations, then rent a car and drive down to Terlingua. Commercial flights are currently available into El Paso, Texas or Midland, Texas and then require car rental to drive to Alpine, Texas and then down to Terlingua.
