Imagine waking up in the morning to the most amazing down island view of the British Virgin Islands! Turquoise waters, blue skies, white sands. You can sip your morning coffee or have cocktails on a spacious porch and lower deck while enjoying the incredible views and ever present breezes. Located right on the beach & only a few footsteps away from the multi-tiered pool and ocean. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Our condo is located in building D, condo D101, ground level with direct access to the beach and pool, from our patio you step on the white sand and it is full renovated. It is a corner unit which gives you the opportunity to see the beach from two sides and also offers the opportunity to relax in our comfortable hammock! Included in your price are the beach chairs, beach towels and snorkeling equipment- daily, free WIFI in the condo and also lounge chairs at the beach and pool at no extra charge. Please read our wonderful reviews on our site and then come see for yourself why everyone loves our place and why we consider it Paradise! You will enjoy a hot shower in a spacious newly tiled bathroom, two sinks and plenty of shelves and counter space. We have thick, plush bath towels, hotel sized soaps and shampoos and a hair dryer all included for your comfort. Our rental 4 sleeps comes with over-sized beach towels, two sets of snorkel gear, cooler, beach floats and noodles- all located inside the condo and beach ready! You will find the condo clean and comfortable. Should you choose to cook in on occasion, you will find lovely dinnerware and fully equipped kitchen. I try to leave an assortment of spices, sugar, coffee filters etc. for your use. We have a keyless entry system for our renters. Your access code is received after the booking is made. This is your specific code for your length of stay. Please print this and bring with you for reference. Check in time is 4pm and check out is 11 am unless discussed in advance and I do not have a check in on your departure day. When arriving at Sapphire Beach, go directly to the condo in the D building. We are on the 1st floor downstairs and to the left. To enter please use the code sent by us on the check-in information email. You will hear the door unlock. When leaving the condo, be sure the door is closed firmly behind you. Some renters have difficulty with the hot water in the shower. We have a tankless hot water heater so it takes a little time to warm (only about 30 sec). Move the shower handle to the left and up and you should have plenty of hot water. You will find a George Forman grill located on the porch for use outside. Please follow instructions located inside the grill. The electric cord is in bottom drawer on the left side of kitchen! Please call us if you have problems. One of our recent renters had a good idea. Put our phone number and our manager in your phone upon or before arrival. If something occurs and you are unable to reach us or are out of the condo, you will have the numbers available. Frequently there are power outages in the Virgin Islands. A flashlight is located in the drawer under the TV in the kitchen area and a lantern is located under the table by the sofa. Also please note that the candles are battery operated. One of our renters tried to light them!! For the patio door you will find a key on the left hunger by the sink. When you leave to the beach you just have to turn the outside lock to the right and it’s closed, but when you want to open it you have to use the key. We provide everything you need in the kitchen, so you can feel home: microwave which also works as an oven, but when used with the silver rack (which you can find under the kitchen sink)! Please don’t forget when you use the microwave you can’t use the silver rack; you need to use the glass plate. Also, we provide a blender, coffee filter and dish rack! In case you don’t see one of these on the counter top, please look for it in the kitchen drawers! In case something is malfunctioning, please call us or our property manager Bernadette! Don’t let us know after you check-out! We want to satisfy all our guests, and try our best!!! Our property manager Bernadette is doing condo provisioning for us! Her email is tamikahbmason@gmail.com please send her a list of what you want and she'll send you a price list! If you are OK, then you'll pay her via PayPal on her account and all it will be in the condo on the day of your arrival! In case you need to do laundry we have a Laundromat by the marina, just a few steps away from our condo! Buy tokens inside the office, 1 to wash & 1 to dry! We have free Wi-Fi for your use. The sign on is summitd101 and the password is summit2014. The network name is D101. If you depend on Internet for business while in St Thomas, please bring alternate access such as an aircard for your use. Although this new wifi system is very good, it is the islands and access can be intermittent. Safe instructions are as follows: With the safe OPEN, enter a 4 digit code followed by the #sign. With the safe still OPEN, reconfirm the 4 digit code followed by the # sign. Then close and lock the safe and try your 4 digit code followed by the # sign, BEFORE PLACING PERSONAL ITEMS INSIDE. Upon checking out, please leave the safe door open for the next guest. In case you find the safe locked by the last guest, please don’t worry we have an override safe key! As you enter the unit in the right side there is the boiler room, OPEN the door and you’ll find a key box the code to open it is VMI. After using it, please place it back in the lock box! Thank you!!! Some reminders: ➢ Don’t forget to disinfect the snorkel equipment before using, and at the end of your vacation before your departure place them back in patio’s trunk closet, along with floats and noodles. In the the trunk closet located on the terrace you’ll find all snorkel equipment. ➢ The floats please leave them inside the unit where you find it! ➢ Make sure that while the AC system is running that the glass sliding door is closed to preserve the coolness of the room without wasting it ➢ Do not lose the keys for the patio door and return them on the left hunger by the sink. ➢ Passenger ferry to St. John is just two minutes away from the resort, in Red Hook, and taxi always available on the site at the resort. ➢ You will always have taxis available within the resort’s grounds, on daily basis. THOMAS TAXI ASSOCIATION 340-774-0394 In case you need a car while being on the island you could rent a car directly from airport (book it online- Avis or Budget, and when you get to the airport you just pick your keys and also when you leave- you just drop the car and the keys, also to the airport, but you can walk up the hill in the resort and take a $4 cab ride to Red Hook for dinner and/or the ferry to St John. The grocery store is 7-8 minutes away ($5 taxi). Also few steps from our condo you'll find the marina were you have many offers for fishing and snorkel trips, or find a day boat to visit other beaches on other islands. Also, we have a good friend of ours that lives there in St. Thomas that has two cars for rental: Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Cherokee, both of them brand new. The price that he offers is $70/day per car or $450/week- flat fee. He won't charge taxes or insurance. It's the best price on the island and from St. John for car rental. At the same time, he's offering round trip from the airport for just $100 (pick you up from the airport and drop off on your departure date) ONLY WITH CAR RENTAL. His name and contact is Jonathan, #340-998 5547- tell him you have his contact from Mihaela. He has three boats at our Marina and he is the best on the island for fishing trips. His business is Double Header Sport Fishing and he can offer you good rates and discounts if interested in fishing trips as well. Please arrange that separately with him if interested. Calvin : phone # 340-690-1980 1-4 ppl pick-up -drop off resort $ 90 In case you want to stop for grocery on your way to the resort the first 15 minutes are free and after that he charges $1$/ minute! If you're interested in Spa services I know someone really great I can refer her name is Boel Meritt 1 (340) 643-4099. Her company is Spa to Go V.I. She also provides service directly to the unit! SIGHTSEEING TOURS by Taxi: Tour 1 (2 hours long)- one passenger $50 OR two or more passengers $25/each; Tour 2 (3 hours long)- one passenger $60 OR two or more passengers $30/each. D, Unit 101 Thomas, US Virgin Islands, 00802 We will keep in touch all the time and, if necessary, during your staying as well. ****If possible, please keep track of the number of times housekeeping provides services. If they do not arrive mid week for towel change or if staying longer than a week for housekeeping services, please let me know and I will contact them immediately. ****PLEASE 1. Do not leave the slider doors open with the air conditioning running!! 2. Do not bring patio furniture to the beach or pool 3. Do not leave beach towels at the pool or beach. 4. If very windy, please stack the patio chairs in the corner by the wood doors. They tend to blow off the porch 5. There are 2 sets of snorkel gear and 3 sand chairs in the chest on the porch. You will be responsible if items are lost or destroyed. 6. Please clean the grill if you use it. If left for housekeeping to clean, there will be a $25 charge. Thank you for your cooperation. Have a wonderful time! Constantly!!! Starting from the booking until check-out and after! Our condo is 3 minutes away from Red Hook where you can find plenty of restaurants and supermarkets, also the ferry to St. John. From Cyril E. King Airport you can get a safari taxi, a private taxi or rent a car straight from the airport! I’ll also provide information upon booking our condo. Guests can access the Pool, beach bar, laundromat, Marina with lots of trips for guests, Dive shop on site, sapphire village restaurant “ Slice” 3 minutes walk from our condo next to the Marina.
