Recoleta is one of the most residential neighborhood in the city; it's an area of great historical and architectural interest, due, particularly to the Recoleta Cemetery located 7 blocks away from the flat. It is really the cultural center of the city. Lot's of shopping, dining and wining are available in Recolet. If you want to get to know other neighborhoods, take the subway D (green line) since it will take you from downtown, throught Recoleta and Palermo till Saavedra. FYI Tango is a must.
