Set steps from world-famous Grace Bay Beach, 6 restaurants, and island's best snorkeling Little Plum Cottage is a modern & romantic, one-bedroom cottage located one lot back from world-famous Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. This stylish cottage is the perfect couple's getaway, with six popular restaurants and the island's central marina within a short walk. The stunning beach and turquoise water are just a short tropical walk from the villa and offer some of the island's best snorkeling, with miles of sugar-white sand for a long stroll on the beach. Take a dip in Little Plum's pool or grill up some fresh fish on the gas BBQ grill included with the villa. This tastefully decorated villa offers a furnished living space, including a comfortable living room, a fully-outfitted kitchen, and a lovely top-floor bedroom with a king-size bed and partial views of the nearby marina and sea. Little Plum Villa is located almost directly on Smiths Reef, which is widely regarded as offering the best snorkeling in the country. A strip of beach rock exists between the sand and the water partly because of this reef. Once you step over the rock, it mostly disappears to reveal a soft sandy bottom with excellent snorkeling just ahead. Set one lot back from the beach, Little Plum offers turquoise views from the top-floor bedroom. The private pool is located on the opposite side of the villa. Notes: • The property manager will drop by to offer an orientation and answer any guests' questions. • A cleaning fee of $235 is added to the rental rate. • AC is metered to discourage use with doors and windows open, thus eliminating the need for a higher rental rate to cover AC waste. You are given an AC allotment of $150 per week; beyond that, you will be charged actual costs. The AC is metered on a separate meter which you will be shown at check-in. • With the coral reef so close to the shore, a strip of rock exists between the sandy beach and the water. Some guests prefer wearing water shoes as the rock can sometimes be slippery* The whole house. The villa manager is available if issues arise. The beach is over 12 miles long and boasts powdery white sand and turquoise waters that are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. The neighborhood is also home to a number of great restaurants and bars, where visitors can sample the local cuisine and enjoy tropical cocktails. There are also a number of water-based activities available in the area, such as kayaking, paddle-boarding, windsurfing and diving. Visitors can even take a boat trip to explore the nearby coral reefs and shipwrecks. Grace Bay Beach is conveniently located near the island's main road, making it easy to access other parts of Providenciales. Visitors can drive or take a short taxi ride to visit other popular destinations such as Long Bay Beach or Chalk Sound National Park. Cleaning & Sanitization Protocols Post COVID19 // All our villas have the TCI assured badge: • A Sanitization station will be set up at the entrance to the property. • All high touch surfaces will be cleaned with anti-bacterial soap and water. Examples include dining tables, kitchen countertops and appliances, light switches, doorknobs, cabinet pulls and handles, railings, faucets, knobs, telephones, sinks, and toilets. • Windows in bedrooms and common areas will be opened to allow fresh air to circulate during the cleaning process. • All electronics and light fixtures will be wiped down including remotes and thermostats. • All soft surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized in accordance with EHD guidelines. • All floors will be swept and wiped with approved disinfectant cleaners. • All doors & hardware will be cleaned and disinfected. • All guests will be provided with a starter supply of essential amenities during their stay: Alcohol-based hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial hand soap, disposable disinfectant wipes, and paper towels, and toilet paper. • All moveable decorations or room amenities will be removed to limit guest touching. • Extra pillows, blankets, linens, etc. in the room will be removed to limit exposure. Extra items will be provided upon request. Deliver requested items in an individual single-use sanitary bag/wrapping. • Hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes will be left in the rooms (where possible). • In-room touch screens will be disinfected. • Guests will have the option for a relaxed housekeeping schedule where cleaning only occurs less frequently as opposed to daily scheduled cleaning (arrangements with the guest). • Staff will be required to wear single-use face masks/face covering, single-use gloves, aprons, and close-toed shoes when servicing each room. • Line all trash cans with a disposal liner to make it easier to collect and dispose of waste.
