What’s most noticeable about this pond is that it is home to hundreds of Egrets (large peaceful white birds) which crowd the trees all day long. At night they all quietly sleep in the trees and there are so many of them that they almost look like tropical Christmas trees. The location is adjacent to the George Ethel Charles Vigie Airport where the traffic flows 24/7. There is something very relaxing about watching the sun set behind the sailboats in Vielle Bay while enjoying a delicious dinner in the open air restaurant and gazing out at the local wildlife and the cruise ships sailing in and out of port.
