Los Balcones is a beach front one bedroom condo in the heart of Sosua, Dominican Republic. The condo offers guest a queen size bed, full kitchen (including oven, full-sized fridge and dish washer), a sitting area and a balcony. Los Balcones, located right on the beautiful Alicia Beach, offers guests a private and quiet space for a dependent vacation while still being in the middle of everything Sosua has to offer. The property has a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, gardens and large patio overlooking the ocean. The balcony has seating for 4 and a lovely view of the ocean and beach below. The beach is accessible through a semi-private access, while the rest of the property is private. There is parking available for one car. The condo has cable TV an Internet with WiFi. You'll have free range over the condo and the grounds, but please keep tidy and be considerate of neighbours. If you need anything please call Michael, the Owner. Please note that you are responsible for the electricity charges, normally it is not going to exceed US$2 a day, but if you use A/C constantly it may go up 10 times. Please take the meter reading when you check-in. The electricity charge is taken from your security deposit when you check-out. Sosua is a lively town full of welcoming people. There are many bars and restaurants, and the supermarket is only a 5 minute walk away. Puerto Plata International Airport (POP) is only 15 minutes car ride, and Cabarete is another 15 minutes. Cabarete is known for its nightlife, with a stretch of bars and restaurants right on the beach. Public transportation is cost effective and efficient. There are cabs and scooters for hire or rent. OK Motors is a reliable car rental service with drop off and pick up. Walking around Sosua is quite easy, it is not hard to navigate and everything is within walking distance. There is a car rental service not far away (OK Motors) that will drop off and pick up the vehicle, they also offer a shuttle service if you decide to return the vehicle yourself.
