Our Casa (Home), your Casa, is located 30 steps away from the lake, 2 blocks from the main square and across the street from the Lake Chapala Society( LCS ). Your Private Room is within a beautiful garden,under the shade of an Avocado Tree, we get visitors during the day, all different types of Birds & Butterflies!!! Have your morning Coffee sitting at the terraza overlooking the garden,and why not check your mail while you are at it. Come stay with us at the Corazon (Heart) of Ajijic! Bright and very spacious !!! With a "Cupula Style" ceiling a classic Mexican work of art!! Comfortable Queen bed overlooking the garden, and its own private full bathroom with a walking shower. **Please note that there is a spiral staircase you need to use to get to your room. ** The room is only for 2 guests and the pool, garden, and terrace are for guest use only. No Extra Visitors Allowed. As our guest, you are more than welcome to just take a nap on one of our hammocks .... Sit at the terrace to check your mail or have a coffee at the garden! And why not take a dip in the pool? ** All these areas are for Guest Use Only. No Extra Visitors Allowed I work from home,that means im always around,minding my own business... but always there and happy to be of any assistance. If I had to chose the one thing I like most about Casa Corazon,it would not be easy but I would have to say location. Don't get me wrong the house is beautiful!! But having the lake so close allows me to take my morning walk on the "Malecon" (boardwalk) and getting to see the most beautiful lake view scenes, and don't even get me started on the SunSet walk!!! From Casa Corazon,you can walk to the Main Plaza which is surrounded by Restaurants & Cafe's ,all this only 2 blocks away!! And all surrounding streets are filled with jewelry boutiques,local artist galleries, Convinient Stores and our very Mexican pioneer,creator of the now famous "Food Truck's".... The Street Taco Stand!!! And so much more!!! And last but not least,our front door neighbor is the "Lake Chapala Society"LCS,where there is always something happening and they know everything that goes arround. The fastest,easiest way to move around is walking,just a couple of blocks up the street you can catch the local bus that will take you to all the main towns around the lake,San Antonio,Chapala, Jocotepec,Mezcala etc. 3 blocks more up the street on the "carretera"(highway),you will find the main bus terminal where you can catch a bus to Guadalajara every 30-45 min. If you wish to rent a car we have off the street parking,with plenty of space. Spiral Staircase to get to your room.
