This beautiful tropically furnished air-conditioned apartment up with a high ceilings and a small roof deck that looks out towards the sea and the street. The beds can either be made up as two singles or one king. Free parking and wifi are included The apartment is beautiful and cosy with a high loft-like roof, attractive light fittings, lots of windows and tropical decor. In addtion to the living room there is a dining nook adjoining the full kitchen as well as dining on the outdoor roofdeck. The entire space is air-conditioned and looks out towards the sea, the street and neighbouring gardens. The authentic hardwood floors are easy on the feet and supplies included soaps, toilet paper, iron and ironing board. Included appliances are a microwave, blender, toaster and coffeemaker. Included also are beach loungers. In addition to your apartment, guests may use the shared washer which is downstairs in a small enclosure, the drying line, the beach path at the bottom of the staircase, the barbecue area and the parking lot. I have an assistant who is available Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 4pm and on Saturdays from 9.30am till 12.00 noon. She is not available on Sundays or holidays but I, my husband or son are just a phone call away. We tell guests about local activities, give directions, handle complaints and organise repairs, make arrangements for meeting of guests and if there is a delay we contact the guests with alternative arrangements. We love to make guests feel like friends rather than strangers. We observe Covid-19 protocols and our staff is fully vaccinated. This is a wonderful location. You can start your day swimming with the turtles at a very safe beach, have breakfast listening to the birds chirping in the nextdoor palms, or in the evening you can sit on the balcony with blended tropical fruit drinks and barbecued fresh fish or go to the cinema or nightclubs - all within a radius of 3 miles. The buses run continuously right outside the proerty, BD$3.50 will take you as far as the bus goes. There is no transfer but you can pay the same on another bus and travel to every corner of the island. The government buses (blue) only take exact change but the yellow buses give change and drive faster. If you prefer to take your own car, we drive on the left but it is easy to know your direction by the sun as we are situated near to the equator and the bus stops also tell you whether you are going towards town or out of town. The capital, Bridgetown is 20 minutes away by bus going south, but there is an interesting historical area called Holetown nearby which has everything including the oldest church in the island and an obelisk commemorating the landing of the English in 1627. Maid service is available at no extra charge once per week for cleaning the apartment but not for personal washing, washing of dishes nor preparing of meals. It is safe to drink the water from the tap. In case of the water outage we have a storage tank. Hot water is solar heated and there is an electrical booster switch in case of need.
