Hiring a car provides maximum flexibility to get around Chiriqui and the Boquete area and the various activities you may decide to do. Some road conditions are difficult for small two wheel drive cars, so at least a well powered SUV or AWD/4WD, and driving with confidence, is recommended! 2. Getting around by taxi. If you don’t drive or your budget doesn't stretch to a hire car, there is a taxi service in the Boquete area and prior planning is best to achieve various activities and coming and going from the property.
