4 Bedroom home with 2 large decks and beach access on beautiful Laguna de Apoyo. The laguna is a warm, clean crater lake and is located just 15 minutes from the colonial city of Granada. Peace, tranquility and hammocks await you! This property looks upon Laguna de Apoyo, a warm, clean crater lake and is surrounded by a lush tropical forest with monkeys and a variety of birds. A large patios offer a perfect place to relax and read a book, enjoy a siesta in the hammock or simply relax. As well there is an open air (covered) rancho lakeside for your use. Four bedrooms with 2 1/2 bathrooms, kitchen and large living space makes this home an ideal retreat. 2 Bedrooms are equipped with kingsize beds, 1 room has a queen size bed and 1 room has 3 single beds. Rooms are equipped with floor and/or ceiling fans. The home does not have air conditioning. Ideal for a family or couples vacationing together. Several restaurants and a pulperia are located nearby. Guests have access to the house, the deck and the rancho on the beach. Parking is onsite. Daily house cleaning and laundry (hand washing) are available (fee). As well cooking can be arranged for a fee but are not included with booking unless arranged. As I am only 15 minutes away if there's anything you need I'm happy to make myself available as well as be there to welcome you and orient to the house .. and area. Laguna de Apoyo is located a 15 minute drive from Granada, Nicaragua and forms a part of a large ecological reserve .. abundant with monkeys and lots of birds. There are a variety of restaurants and small tiendas/shops close by. We have a family who live on-site (but apart from this house) that are caretakers of the property and are available to help out if you need anything If you do not have a rental car, taxis and local buses are available .. as well a driver/car can be arranged for you for day trips in and around the area. Although not essential a vehicle is recommended for long term stays. We recommend you bring water shoes as the beach area is rocky. Guests are expected to clean dishes and kitchen and leave it as it was when they arrived. Any damages or broken items need to be reported and compensated for. There are dogs on the property and a cat which visits at his leisure. No expectations for guests to feed Blondie the cat but please be kind.
