We welcome you to our beautiful large 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Hawaiian escape that sleeps up to a maximum of 9 people. Our new home is completely equipped with appliances (including laundry), cooking utensils and Pottery Barn plates and accessories. All furniture, bedding, and mattresses have been well researched before being purchased, and are of high quality. Enjoy our large lanai in front and back, where you can sit back and enjoy a meal or recline while reading a classic. On hot days inside, you can enjoy our central air conditioning (a rare item in Hawaii) while sitting on our eight person comfortable sectional as you stream movies through our Apple TV, or Smart TV. The Polynesian Cultural Center is only three minutes away, and boasts the island's best luau and cultural experience. Watch the North Shore Surfing competitions at nearby Bonzai Pipeline, walk around the gorgeous Laie temple and visitor center, take a beautiful hike in the surrounding local mountains, go horseback riding at the nearby Gunstock Ranch, or try the rope swings and natural rock pool at Alligator Pond. The possibilities are truly endless. Our home is family friendly, where toddlers and young children are welcomed by a crib, highchair, and books. Many restaurants are conveniently located within the block, including Papa Ole's, North Shore Tacos and Hau'ula Korean Barbecue. Hauula's grocery stores - Tamura's and Longs Drugs- are also within the block next to the home for easy to plan meals if you choose to cook. Speaking of cooking, if you choose to stay at home and cook your own food, we have a mixer, blender, cookie sheets, crock pot, pans and many more items to make our home feel like yours. Guests will have private access to the upstairs portion of the house, both lanais, air conditioning, garage, laundry room, Smart TV, Wifi, beach toys, and hose shower next to the door for washing off sand. One of the best parts of staying in our home is access to the local neighborhood and culture. The neighbors are extremely friendly, and you may enjoy their Hawaiian music wafting through the window, or an invitation to sit down and socialize with them. Please do not expect that this is a hotel. (If that’s what you want, feel free to book at one of the two hotels on the North Shore.) Also, living inside a tropical environment, occasional pests are a reality here. We are very vigilant about this, and professionally spray for this monthly, as well as employ other measures regularly. We rent for periods of 30 days or more. Please Note: The only way to book our house is through this site. If you find us on Craig’s List, it is a scam! Guests will access this vacation rental by entering the home and going up the stairs to the main living areas. Our friendly property manager lives down the street with her family. Our property manager down the street will be able to assist with any questions you may have. Also, guests will be required to sign a separate transient accommodation contract that complies with local laws. We are in a quiet neighborhood known for watching out for each other. Friendly polynesian neighborhood surrounded by local vegetation of breadfruit, banana, coconut, and plumeria trees. Ocean access is located seven houses down the street. Beach access is a short walk or 1 minute drive. Popular activities for beaches include beachcombing, snorkeling, boogie boarding, surfing, and paddleboarding. Our home is located conveniently next to a bus stop, across the street from a grocery store, drug store, post office and popular restaurants. There are two available parking spaces for your use.
