A world of relaxation, connection, and peace awaits you within the gates of Casa Ganesha in beautiful Tepoztlan. As you gaze upon the stunning mountain backdrop, you may find yourself wondering if you're in a movie. You've got to experience it to believe it. I have had the pleasure of spending several years living in Bali and in India as well as other parts of the world, and I've worked to turn Casa Ganesha into a living gallery of furnishings and artwork that I have collected from all around. As you explore, I hope you'll find the space inspiring, calming, and interesting. Both bedrooms feature large french doors that open to the large veranda, perfect to gaze upon the gardens and listen to the sounds of the fountain as you start your day with breakfast in bed... why not? You're in paradise! The master bedroom has a king sized bed, TV, and library, and has an ensuite bathroom complete with bidet and tub, while the second bedroom includes a double bed. And for your comfort, the patio doors are equipped with mosquito screens. But with over 4,000 sq. meters of gardens to explore, the heated pool, cabana, outdoor pavilion for game night or to simply lounge and read, a breakfast terrace, outdoor living room, and more, you'll likely find yourself outside most of the time! Casa Ganesha is filled with little treasures to discover in every corner! You'll be the only guests, so you'll have the house and pool to yourself, and the on-site staff are available to assist you with anything you need from cleaning to cooking to laundry, etc. (Standard housekeeping is included, please let us know if you'd like to add meal service and other services and I will help you set it up). There is parking for 3 vehicles inside the gates. While I will likely be traveling during your stay, never fear. I have a wonderful staff on site to assist you in a moment’s notice, in case you can’t reach me right away. The house is surrounded by other houses with large gardens. It is walking distance to downtown where the market, cathedral , museums and handicraft are. From the terrace you can enjoy a spectacular view of the mountains which surrounds Tepoztlan . In order to get to Downtown you can easily walk 10 minutes. To go further you can use your car , bike or bicicle , if you have one. Some streets are mainly made of stone and a few have proper pavement. Downtown is full of paying parking places . Quieter hours: We have worked to create a wonderful sanctuary for our guests here at Casa Ganesha. We ask that guests keep noise levels low after 10PM so that the neighbors can also enjoy their own sanctuaries... which means we can keep sharing the wonder of Casa Ganesha with you and others for years to come! Pets: Note that we have three dogs already on the property, and although they’re incredibly loving and friendly, we don’t typically accept other pets. But you can feel free to focus all of your love and attention on our furry hosts, Alpha, Bali, and Shanti! :) Additional services: We want you to have an incredible experience at Casa Ganesha! And that includes Nazario (the on site caretaker) and Patricia (the on-site housekeeper). Included with your stay is a light cleaning most days. If you’d like us to set you up with daily meal service, we can design a custom package for you, just ask us for information when making your reservation. Pool: Note that the pool IS heated by a solar heating system, this means that in the rainy season the water may be cooler than sunny days. Nazario will take care of opening and closing the pool daily and of course all of its maintenance. We close the pool at 10PM nightly. To keep tue pool safe and sanitary, please keep glass containers away from the pool, and shower before entering.
