Our place is just a minute walk away from beautiful El Transito beach. You’ll love our clean, comfortable bedroom with en suite bathroom. Our space is perfect for couples and solo adventurers. We're a Canadian couple who moved to Nicaragua in 2016 and bought a house on one of our favourite beaches: El Transito! Now we live in paradise and we want to share it with travellers from around the world. Our home features two bedrooms, both with their own clean, private en suite bathrooms. We even have wi-fi! Your bedroom features a super comfy queen-sized bed, custom-made cedar furniture and top-quality linens and towels. Your room has three windows with bug screens, so you can enjoy the cool ocean breeze. There is also air conditioning available for an extra $5US per night. Cool off in our newly-added splash pool, just steps from your room! We've just added an outdoor kitchenette for guests to prepare their own meals. We'll be here when you visit and the common areas are only shared with us. Chill in the living room or outside on our rocking chairs, sun beds or hammock. Breakfast is included! For a small fee, you can also do a load of laundry. We love cooking and provide our guests a complimentary, hearty breakfast. The kitchenette is available for guests to make lunches and dinners. If you'd prefer to relax and have us do the cooking for either a portion or all of your stay, that is easily arranged. Prices are very reasonable (depending on dietary needs), and not to brag, but we make delicious food! Please let us know in advance! We will be here throughout your stay and are happy to answer any of your questions. At the same time, we like to give our guests as much privacy as they desire! El Transito is a small traditional fishing village. You'll see fishing boats coming and going throughout the day, which means we often have wonderful fresh seafood. El Transito is also a top-notch surf destination, with consistent offshore winds and good swell most of the year. Board rentals and lessons are available nearby. The locals are friendly, especially the playful and curious children. There are two local cafes, serving up delicious smoothies, tacos and ice-cold beers right on the beach! The beach is beautiful and incredibly uncrowded. There are also great opportunities to volunteer and make a positive impact on the community . There are buses three times a day to El Transito from Managua at the Oriental Market. We have great local drivers that get you here or take you where you need to go. Just ask us, and we can help make arrangements! We also have gated parking available. Surfboard rental is available nearby We have a very well-behaved dog, and a cat. We bet you'll love them both :) We can arrange a driver to our place from Managua Airport for $60US Please note, there is NO ATM in El Transito! Please plan accordingly.
