January 29th-Feb 14th available. A gorgeous ocean view villa with a luxurious interior, on the most beautiful lagoon in Ko Olina. High end in style with a Ritz Carlton/Four Seasons Island vibe. With beds for eight, the villa is perfect for large families or couples with children who enjoy traveling together. We are located on lagoon two within the Ko Olina resort. Nearby at lagoon one is the Disney Aulani and Four Seasons Resort. Additional shops & restaurants are along our beachfront. Our beaches, pools, hot tubs and fitness center are open. A Bipolar Ionizer is installed in the fitness center. We have invested in Bipolar Needlepoint Ionizer's (no ozone) for our villa, as used at the Four Seasons Resort next door. The Ionizer's are installed in our villa's two zoned AC systems and according to the manufacturer reduces COVID and other viruses/bacterias from hard surfaces by 99.98% in 60 minutes. ABOUT THE VILLA The Villa is on the top floor, at the very front of our building and unlike other villas has no neighbors on three sides allowing for extra privacy and nice tradewinds. 180 degree views of the Ocean, Lagoon Pool, Lap Pool, and Koi Pond from the windows on three sides. The villa is perfect for large families or couples who would like to split the cost between two families. With two masters and a center bedroom that sleeps up to four children, it's the perfect space. Good to know: The villa has windows on three sides, so even though another tower obstructs part of the straight ahead view, you will still have nice expansive 180 degree views including ocean, mountain, pool and koi pond. Our view is 180 degrees instead of 45 degrees in most villas. (Take a look at the photos to see.) ABOUT RENTING IN HAWAII All legal listings in Hawaii collect and remit taxes to the State of Hawaii. The City and County of Honolulu has shut down 10,000+ illegal rental units on Oahu. Make sure any rental you are considering collects and pays their taxes. Don't be in a situation where you show up and not have a place to stay. We are a legal rental unit, and within that, a legal short term rental unit (for less than a 30-day stay). [TA-124-518-4000-01] 2022/ELOG-1791 We look forward to welcoming you back for a healthy and restorative experience. You'll have access to our beautiful beach, our lagoon pool and our quiet pool, three hot tubs, beach bar, Wolf B-B-Q grills set beachside and at the back of the lagoon pool, fitness center, men's and woman's locker rooms with steam room and sauna, and our beautiful grounds. We provide parking in our underground garage. A DAY IN THE LIFE ------------------------------------------------------- Start by swimming laps at the beach in the lagoon in front of our property. Spend a few minutes relaxing on the wide sandy beach or grass circling the lagoon. Wiggle your toes in the sand. If the kids are up, play a little football in the sand before heading up to your villa for breakfast or head over to Eggs-n-Things. Fresh Papaya and Pineapple, breakfast pastries, Portuguese sausage, rice and eggs, followed by a latte and POG juice. The perfect Hawaiian breakfast. Island Country Markets, Starbucks and Eggs-n-Things are located at the Ko Olina Station Shopping Center, within the Ko Olina resort. Walk over or drive. On to the fitness center for some treadmill time and weight lifting or jog along the beach front path. As a reward, go and sit in the sauna and steam room, my favorite (Dad). Head off for a massage, perhaps a one and a half hour long hot stone massage, my favorite (Mom) at the Four Seasons or Disney Aulani. The rest of the family can visit the lagoon pool for some fun in the sun. Cruise by and visit the Beach Bar. Have the kids order Brain Freezes all around. Cherry with Passion Fruit, (Daughter's Favorite along with the Chocolate, or Son's favorite Mango.) At lunch, take the path that runs along the ocean that connects the lagoons together and eat at Longboard's on Lagoon Three. The fish tacos and the pulled Kalua Pork sandwich are favorites. You could also head over to the new shopping center and order some sandwiches for the beach at the Island Country Market or eat at local favorite Monkeypod Kitchen. After lunch, head back to the property for some snorkeling in the lagoon to see the colorful fish and to look for Tripod, our three legged sea turtle that frequents our lagoon. If spending time at the beach, rent some lounge chairs and umbrellas from the beach services crew or bring down the provided beach chairs in our villa. Head over to Costco, (one exit away, about five minutes) and pick up some USDA Prime Rib Eye steaks, Ahi (Tuna) steaks and shrimp. Marinate them in some Huli Huli sauce and grill them by the pool at sunset while enjoying drinks from the beach bar while the kids swim. A great way to end the day. Nadia (my sister) will be here to greet you upon arrival at the front desk. She will assist you with check in and will show you how to operate the various amenities in your villa. She is nearby in Kapolei, and is available to answer any questions during your stay. We also pay to have maintenance staff on-property, just in case anything requires your immediate attention. Drive through the gates of the resort and immediately feel the calm come over you as you leave the hustle and bustle of the world behind. Waikiki, the North Shore, Honolulu, the great shopping and restaurants are all here on Oahu, but once you arrive at the resort, it feels like you are at one of the outer islands like Maui or Kauai. The best of both worlds. To and from the airport A rental car is the best option to get to and from the airport. This will also come in handy when touring around the Island. We will provide you with our assigned parking stall, included in the rate. It's an easy drive to our property on the H-1 going West until it ends. Drive a little further until you see the green freeway looking exit sign for Ko Olina. (Note that you won't be on the freeway any longer but still on the same road.) If you don't wish to rent a car for the entire trip, you can book with speedishuttle for round trips to the airport or you may call a taxi, or use Uber and/or Lyft. On the days you wish to venture out, both the Disney Aulani and the Marriott Beach Club, located on either side of us, have Alamo rent-a-car locations. I would book this in advance though, as their inventory is limited. Within the Ko Olina Resort There is an ocean front walkway that connects all four beach lagoons together. Walk along the wide promenade to restaurants, the luau, marina and shopping. When you exit our beach gate, the Four Seasons and Disney Aulani will be to your right. The Marriott Beach Club and Marina will be to your left. Good to know: Avoid driving during 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm, rush hour. Check your mapping app for road congestion. If it's not too red, you may be ok. If your flight arrives by 2:00 pm, you should be fine as well. If it's rush hour, spend the time having dinner or drinks (except the driver!) in town first, rather than in rush hour traffic. (You'll need to make a judgement call about leaving your bags unattended, as in any major city.) We've gone to the below places without incident, thus far. La Mariana Sailing Club on the marina next to the airport is an excellent choice for Kitschy Hawaiiana. (Was in the movie 50 First Dates). Another great choice for seafood, also near the airport is Nico’s Pier 38. They purchase seafood at the fish auction every morning. Ala Moana shopping mall is pretty near the airport and is patrolled. It has many dining options as well. There is also a Costco near the airport. (There is also another one nearby your accommodations.) Your rate includes up to two parking places at our property so no extra cost there. Also no resort fee or WiFi fee at this time as well. This could save you up to $100 a day vs. resorts near us. Scroll to the bottom of this page to the Maps and click on our families favorite spots that we think you'll also enjoy. W26490960-01
