Deep in the heart of our sleepy New North End neighborhood filled with families, folks out for a walk or bike ride on the newly refurbished Bike Path just steps away, pick-up soccer games at the park, a short walk to a wilderness area with steps to the beach. 5 minutes drive to the Church Street Marketplace for all of your shopping, dining and nightlife needs. You'll have access to the living room, TV room, dining room, eat in kitchen, yard, back deck, shared bathrooms. If you bring your bikes (boats?) we have a large secure garage you can put them in and have full access to at all times. We're definitely available to answer questions and give recommendations on local restaurants, breweries and scenery and we also work full time from home. If we are home we're fun and easygoing and happy to help if you need anything. Sometimes we are unable to get to our phones for a few hours because of work so we'll make sure to connect with instructions before your check in! We are a small but, busy family. We are typically home by 9pm and in bed by 10pm (even on the weekends.) We are located in the New North End of Burlington. The neighborhood is quiet, with most single family homes. Within 5 min by car you will find the Ethan Allen Shopping Center with a supermarket (Hannaford), post office, UPS, excellent bagel shop (ideal for breakfast or lunch), pub, great pizzeria "La Boca" and a Chinese and a Vietnamese take out, among other stores. Close by are also a pharmacy and Rite Aid. Please note: Driving to downtown Burlington with most of the restaurants takes around 10 min (or 3 miles!) by car. The Burlington Bike Path is easily accessible for running, in-line skating, biking or beautiful walks. Public beach access is within 5 min walking or 2 min biking. There is public transportation at the end of the street. Our downtown or UVM is a 10 minute easy drive. We are 2 blocks from the water - just down the bike path and a long set of stairs and 1/2 block from the new bike path. Perfect location for biking! We have an elderly Golden and and 2 older cats. They can both be quite shy. We have two fully furnished bedrooms in this home that we Airbnb.
