Welcome to our lovely home! We are a Guyanese-Canadian/American duo living in a safe tranquil residential neighborhood in the heart of Georgetown. We have 3 guest rooms, each with its private bathroom, A/C and WiFi, a communal living area and a fully-equipped kitchen. A delicious healthy breakfast is included! We have 3 immaculate guest rooms, each with its own private bathroom. Comfortable beds with quality mattresses and linens, towels and basic amenities, A/C, ceiling fan and WiFi access in every room. Guests have access to their bedroom and private bathroom, and the communal living area - including lounge, dining room and fully-equipped kitchen. Enjoy the outdoor guests' lounge and our beautiful tropical garden, or just relax in our colorful hammocks. We're located in Queenstown, a colonial neighborhood in the heart of old Georgetown, with beautiful wooden buildings still remaining. We are within 10 minuets to the Botanical Gardens/Guyana Zoo and seawall (Atlantic Ocean), churches and restaurants. An excellent location for exploring Georgetown and its surroundings. Easy access to public transportation (mini-buses). Taxis around the city are cheap and safe, 300-500GYD (2-4USD). Cheddi Jagan International Airport is ~50 minutes from Georgetown, and a taxi is ~30USD. Ogle domestic airport is ~10 minutes from Georgetown, and a taxi is ~5USD. Our tropical garden is home to lots of birds, parrots, hawks and sometimes even toucans and macaws! Enjoy the rich vegetation, flowers, mango and banana trees. We support local Guyanese artists and craftsmen, and our home is decorated with local paintings, art and crafts. We are passionate about respecting the environment and rescuing animals.
