Maracangalha is a small property in the Barrio Real de San Carlos (Colonia del Sacramento), with a bright and cozy house, nice outdoor spaces (fruit trees and orchard), 3 blocks from the Rambla, beaches, Plaza de Toros, museums, university and restaurants. The house is newly built, has private car parking, 2 complete bedrooms, each with bathroom and dressing room. Has a large integrated kitchen/ living room with wood burning stove and a deck facing a green backyard. You will be welcomed and cared for by the home managers and housekeepers Federico and Elena, who live nearby and speak Spanish and English. It is ideal for those who want to enjoy relaxing walks in dazzling sunsets (photos) along the banks of the Rio de la Plata, and slowly stroll through old streets lined with old plátano trees in a city whose Historic District was declared a World Heritage (UNESCO, 1995), for its preservation, beauty and historical importance. That historic treasure is a few minutes walking (50 min along the sunbathed Rambla costanera), biking (15 min), or by bus (5 min). The house is offered entirely for the exclusive use of guests (maximum 6 people). Stepless access to the main entrance. On the ground floor, guests have access from the internal parking lot to the deck, living room, kitchen and bedroom, closet and bathroom, without steps or stairs. The bedroom, closet and a small living room on the upper floor is accessed by a wide staircase. Access to the backyard, the grill, the orchard and the vegetable garden is done through a ramp next to the house or by a ladder from the deck.The house is fully equipped. The kitchen has all the comforts to enjoy a relaxing holiday. It has air conditioning (hot and cold), blackout curtains in the rooms and mosquito nets on all windows. The Russian-type (smoke-free) wood-burning fireplace in the dining room also heats both rooms. Hot and cold water in all the taps of the main residence. Tables and benches to rest around a fire in the backyard and an outdoor grill are almost ready. The property is maintained by a couple of housekeepers, who live close to the main guest house. They will receive and guide guests, whenever contacted. They are not supposed to provide house cleaning or other services to the guests. The house is in a quiet street, exclusively residential, near small local markets, two blocks from a bus stop, and a safe and well-lit public walkway, which leads to the beaches, restaurants and the historical center The house has its own parking space (without cover) for one car. There is the possibility to park at least one more car on the street in front of the house. There are urban bus stops about two blocks from the house
