Livio, Ivan, and Juan Carlos work full time at Healing Gardens and one of them is always available to help you should you need anything. Rumichaka is a small farming community 2 kilometers from Urubamba on the road to Ollantaytambu. All of our staff live in the community and the organic vegetables they grow at Healing Gardens feeds their families as well as Willka T'ika's guests next door. We are a 2 minute walk from "Paradero Rumichaka." This bus stop is an easy place to grab a "mototaxi" or "colectivo" to head anywhere in the Sacred Valley. When you want to come back you can tell the mototaxi "Rumichaka - Willka T'ika" and they will drive you down the path right to the door of Healing Gardens. It is a 25 minute walk to Urubamba and there are some lovely walking trails through the local community. Rumichaca is also the perfect location to explore visit nearby Inkan sites such as the Salt Mines of Maras and the nearby Incan Chullpas. This garden guest house was designed for the independent traveler who needs a quiet, restorative sanctuary to relax in before and after travel to and from the Sacred Valley.
