Rustic, country, working coffee/fruit farm getaway. Relax on a secluded 10-acre coffee & fruit farm—Smoke-free. Magnificent coastal views. Wake up in nature’s tranquility. (Rates include 14.962% Hawaii Tax composed of Transient Accommodations Tax (TAT) 10.25% (TA#116-492-9024-01) & General Excise Tax (GET) 4.712%.) This private room (10’x19’) sleeps 2 adults on a King-sized bed (198 cm x 203 cm) with shared access to a community/shared bathroom, a fully equipped community/shared kitchen with adjoining Lanai (veranda) for dining and leisure, plus a shared Washer/Dryer laundry area next to an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach. Please note, this room is our hottest room with the least amount of ventilation. There are 2 fans and 2 windows, but it can still get pretty hot. There is NO AC in any of the rooms. Our farm is a place to relax, explore native Hawaiian flora and fauna, and enjoy the beauty and spirit of old Hawaii! We welcome guests who have a respect and appreciation for our tranquil environment. We offer fresh fruit when seasonally available from our many trees including Orange, Tangerine, Lime, Banana, Pineapple, Soursop, Rollinia, Pamelo, Mango, Papaya, Lychee, Star fruit, Avocado, and many more! FREE Parking and Internet Wi-Fi. Also, enjoy a walk around and up to the top of our 10-acre farm. The Managers reside on property and will gladly help with any questions or directions to local attractions. They will always be considerate of your privacy and space during your stay. Centrally located near many attractions within 5-10 minutes drive, including Kealakekua Bay/Captain James Cook Monument, National Historical Park Pu'uhonua O Honaunau (Place of Refuge)/Two Step, St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church aka "Painted Church", Paleaku Peace Sanctuary/Botanical Gardens, and Ho'okena Beach Park. It is a 45-minute drive to/from Kailua-Kona town. There are many bays and beaches in which to swim and snorkel and get lucky swimming with dolphins and turtles! During whale season you can enjoy watching their behavior from many of the close local areas as well. Fill your days with many wonderful sites including Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Mauna Kea Observatory; most all of the island can be reached within a couple of hours from the farm. A car rental is recommended as most attractions and grocery/farmers markets are not within comfortable walking distance. We have free parking for one vehicle per guest stay. It is a TROPICAL CLIMATE and highly recommended to bring INSECT REPELLENT for your comfort, and SUN PROTECTION to minimize exposure. A Rental Guideline of our house rules is provided in each room, and the managers are always available should you have questions or need anything. PHONE AND COMPUTER USE LIMITED TO ROOM. MUST USE HEADSET OR EARBUDS WITH MICROPHONE. CAR IS NECESSARY. We are in a rural location without taxis or Ubers. NO AC!!!
