Steps from the beach with beach and sea views from the balcony. We have a small road between the house and the sand and sea! The bedrooms have A/C. Two of our bedrooms can have either 1 king bed or 2 twin beds. The third bedroom has 2 queen beds. We've taken great care to design our furnishings and upholstery to be comfortable. Our beds and bedding are good quality, imported from Canada and a delight to sleep in. If you need to escape, rest, de-stress and connect with your people you've found the right listing. Our home was designed to be comfortable with modern conveniences and chic comfort mixed with a rich Costa Rican outdoor living lifestyle. Our downstairs pool deck is huge and partially covered (to offer you both sun and shade, with a hammock and ample seating, jungle gardens and the plunge pool. Our beach, Playa Negra is 22 km long and is never crowded. You can easily walk in to Puerto Viejo (just 20 minutes walk on the beach). Because we have so much vacation rental experience in Costa Rica and around the World we have combined all we have learned to create a super relaxing, comfortable space where everything has been thought of so you don't have to worry about anything at all. If you want more, just let our house Manager know before you arrive or during your stay. We can arrange to have your fridge filled with your favourites before you arrive, private chefs, massage, transportation from San Jose to Puerto Viejo, car or bike rentals, trips and tours in Costa Rica or in the Puerto Viejo area, or local dinner reservations. We have a small Market available just 2 minutes walk from the house at the lovely Hotel Banana Azul. It has fresh baked goods, coffee, liquor, beer, wine and whatever else you may need. Be sure to have some meals at Hotel Banana Azul Restaurant or at their Beach Club where there is full food & drink service and is a lovely place to spend the day on the beach. The town of Puerto Viejo is close with a lively Caribbean vibe, grocery shops, liquor stores, great shops, coffee shops, bars and amazing restaurants. You will have access to everything quickly and easily. Walk, ride bikes, rent a car, get a taxi or take the public bus. There are lots of easy ways to get around town. Casa Luna Beach House is our home when we are in Costa Rica. When you rent it from us the whole house is all yours. We have 2 levels, 1st level there is a large bedroom with ensuite bathroom and 2 Queen beds, a huge deck with shade or sun and ample seating for everyone, a plunge pool and parking for 1 car. The 2nd floor (up some stairs) is the main level of the house with 2 bedrooms with king or 2 twin bed option in each. They both have their own adjacent bathrooms. A large, comfortable indoor living room and kitchen. A huge balcony with sea and beach views, another comfortable lounge area and dining table and chairs. Our property managers are RISE Caribe and they are nearby and will be available when you need them. They can help you organize transportation from the airport in San Jose to Casa Luna Beach House and they can set up any tours you'd like pre, during and post your stay at the Beach House. They can also provide any additional Concierge services you may need before or during your stay. Private Chef, Massage in house or down the road at Hotel Banana Azul, Transportation, Car Rental, Trips and tours in Costa Rica or locally in and around Puerto Viejo. They are happy to answer any questions you may have. Puerto Viejo is a wonderful bohemian town on the South East side of Costa Rica. It is decidedly a "caribbean vibe" which gives you a laid back sleepy atmosphere. We are close to town and right on the beach so you can do lots or nothing - it's completely up to you. Everything is provided except food however there is a great boutique resort just down the road from us (literally 1 minute walk) which serves an amazing breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner if you please. PV is full of restaurants, bars, grocery stores and shops so you can be as busy or active as you please. There is so much food styles to choose we haven't even tried everything yet. You will certainly find your favourites. Casa Luna Beach House has secure parking for 1 car at the house. Nina can arrange parking close to the house for additional cars. Other transportation can be bikes (available for rent from Banana Azul down the road), taxis are available and there is the public bus at the end of the road (7 minute walk) that can take you anywhere you'd like to go for just a few dollars. There are some places you may want to visit like Cahuita or Manzanillo that you will have to take the bus or drive to. They are both too far to cycle or walk to. Casa Luna Beach House sleeps up to 6 people. We have 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. The upstairs (2nd floor) with full kitchen, living room, dining room and balcony has 2 air-conditioned bedrooms each have the option of 1 King bed OR 2 single beds and their own adjacent bathrooms. Our house manager will ask you what bed size you prefer before you arrive. Bedroom #3 is on our Main Level/pool deck and has air conditioning and 2 queen beds with its own ensuite bathroom and kitchenette. House keeping is included in your price and, if you are staying over 5 days you will receive a mid week clean as well no charge. Any taxes and fees are included in the rental cost. Laundry service during your stay is available for a small extra fee. Please speak to the house manager if you want to arrange this or any other service. Please remember that this is our home and not a hotel so there may be some special things you need but you don't find in the house. Not to worry, just contact the house manager and let them know what you need and they will get it for you if they can.
