With 1200 sq ft of privacy, peace, and your own 16' x 18' inground pool; this well-kept villa has 1 large bedroom, bath, full kitchen, eating & living area. Offering you 1200 square feet of privacy, including a very private 16' x 18' pool for your personal enjoyment. There is a view of the pool from every room (except the shower!) Our Villa is located on the beautiful and quieter east side of the island. We are part of a small condo complex that is run like a Hotel. Complimentary amenities include: *Snorkel Gear *Exchangeable Pool Towels *Welcome Breakfast basket (upon arrival) *Small bottle of Rum *Mid-week maid service for stays Over 5 days *Free WiFi In the privacy of the Villa, you can watch the sun rise, with the island of St. John in view, while having coffee on the pool deck, or if you are so inclined, take a 3 minute walk down to Sapphire beach & join a yoga or water activity class (usually) around 7 am. And beautiful Sapphire beach has great swimming and snorkeling at any time. There is also a dive shop and an open-air restaurant/bar on the beach. A little further down the beach, Sapphire Marina has charter boats available to book for excursions to the other USVI & the BVI islands. They also have wave runners available. Go Island hopping, bar hopping, coral reef hopping to snorkel with the marine life.... so many things to do and so little time to do it all! Then there's the great little town of Red Hook. You can catch the ferry to St. John. There are also many charter boats and yachts available for hire. From island hopping & snorkeling, to deep sea fishing, shopping, dining, and night life, you are sure to find it. Charlotte Amalie, is considered the downtown of the island and it's the hub of activity. There you'll find the cruise ships, charter yachts, world class shopping and dining. The northern part of the island is where you'll find world famous Magens Bay beach, and Mahogany Run golf course. Part of the islands charm, are the Safari buses that go in one direction in a loop from Charlotte Amalie, to the east end and Red Hook and back. Another piece of the islands charm is saying Good morning, Good afternoon, and Good night in both greeting and departure. If you remember to use these greetings, in return you'll usually receive good service, a friendly smile, and even lively conversation. Whether you're coming to the island to shop, seek adventure, or lay on the beaches and swim in the ocean, or try and do it all; at the end of the day, your own place is waiting. We will give you entry instructions firhgt before your trip. You have your own private Villa with private pool, If you arrive after 6 pm, there is security on site until midnight to greet you. Also conveniently on-site, is PANGEA, Terra table Restaurant. Fully Licensed and Open-air. Our Villa is our vacation home. So we are off-island. However, we are always available via e-mail or telephone if the need arises. We work in tandem with the manager and maintenance & security staff. So there is always someone available to assist. *We are conveniently located on the east side of St. Thomas. *Just a quick 3-5 minute walk to famous Sapphire beach, and only a mile to the great little town of Red Hook. *Lindquist beach is only a minute away by taxi or car, *Coki beach ( with the best snorkeling on island) is about a 5 minute drive. *Meagan's Bay beach is located on the north side of the island, and is about a 15 minute drive. *Downtown - Charlotte Amalie is where you'll find world class shopping, dining and the cruise ships *St. Thomas is only about 32 sq miles, so nothing is really very far. Note: They drive on the left side of the road, in North American cars. You can rent a car if you like, & is recommended if you intend to explore the islands of St. Thomas & St. John. However, taxi's are available. They are safe and have set rates per person. This is sometimes a cheaper option, along with the Safari bus if you plan on staying on-island. The local Safari ( aka Dollar) bus, drives right by our complex, so it very convenient to get to town. It's currently $1 ea to get to Red Hook and $2 each to get to Charlotte Amalie We know that after a long day of travelling to your destination you're probably going to be tired. But not to worry! You have options! Located on-site, is Pangea Terra Table Restaurant, a farm to table restaurant offering fresh local food, and with a great view of St. John. Also, if you are considering the convenience of Provisioning, "Fresh Foods VI" is a great place to buy - online - all your grocery needs !. They do charge for delivery as they'll bring all the groceries into the villa, and fill the fridge & leave the dry goods on the counter for you. Moe's Fresh Mart (an upscale grocery store) in Red Hook also offers provisioning services. Check out their website and email their provisioner. Also, the town of Red Hook is only a mile away and has some great restaurants and nightlife. The local Safari (aka Dollar) bus, drives right by our complex, so it very convenient to get to town. It's currently $1 ea to get to Red Hook and $2 each to get to Charlotte Amalie Taxi rates are set by the government, are per person and non-negotiable.
