Renfro's offers spectacular views of huge snow capped mountains and a 30-mile long lake. This pristine retreat has the feel of true wilderness and yet is located only 20 miles from Seward. This means you are within driving distance of the activities people want to see and experience while on the Kenai Peninsula. Exploring Renfro's Lakeside Retreat: There are many activities you can take in while exploring the property including checking out games, puzzles or books at the Lodge, walking along the Kenai Lake, hiking Victor Creek Trail, spotting sheep and bear on the surrounding mountains, fishing the Kenai Lake, taking a pedal boat or kayak out on the lake, building a drift wood fort, searching for wild mushrooms, strawberries and flowers, playing a game of horse shoes or tossing a basketball at the playground, enjoying the picnic area with your own campfire, watching the passenger train go by or just sitting back and relaxing while you watch an eagle soar overhead. Check-in time is from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and checkout time is by 11:00 a.m. If you arrive early, please stop by. If your cabin is available, you are welcome to check in early. If you are checking in after 9:00 p.m., please make arrangements with me.
