Stay in our beautiful suite with private bath. This bedroom is on the second floor with a dedicated entrance. It’s very spacious and beautifully decorated. There is a desk area if you are remote working and a smart tv that can be used for zoom meetings or watching your favorite tv shows. There is a coffee bar and under counter frig with freezer. We also have a small bistro table and chairs for you to eat at. If traveling with friends or family members we have a second room available for rent Your private room has a queen size bed and is beautifully decorated with a warm comfy feeling. There is plenty of natural bright sunlight. This room is very large and has a bathroom located right outside the bedroom door. We are located in Colchester which is a bedroom community of Burlington. It's a very private area with no neighbors in site. It's very quiet except for the peepers at dusk. We have about a half acre pond in the backyard that is visible from your room. We also have an outdoor terrace with a table and chairs that you're welcome to relax on. We also have another bedroom that is available to rent, It has a queen bed and sleeps 2. This is good for families, 2 couples or singles traveling together. We do have a small dog. He is half Havanese and half Maltese. He does not shed and is a very friendly and loving dog. We will be around, but we have separate quarters within the house on the first floor. We will be available if you need anything, but we will respect your privacy and let you enjoy your time here in Vermont We live on 6 acres at a dead end street. Our property borders a private orchard and a perfect spot to take a nice walk or run. As you stroll or run, there are beautiful lake views surrounding you. You need a vehicle to get around. We are a short 15 minute ride to Burlington, where you can enjoy the restaurants, night life and all the shopping Burlington has to offer. There is also a beautiful state park ...The Sand Bar State Park is just a 5 min drive down the road. It's right on Lake Champlain with incredible 360 views of the Green Mountains, including Mount Mansfield and Camels Hump. In the other direction the Adirondack Mountain Range. It's truly a spectacular site. This is a beach you do not want to miss. Bring your bikes to enjoy a ride through our scenic area. There are many marked bike areas through out this area. There's also Snow Farm Winery close by that offers free concerts in their vineyard every Thursday night through out the summer. Just around the corner is Niquette State park that is beautiful and has some hiking paths that take you down to the lake. There are also many things beside night life and shopping. We are a 45 min drive to Stowe, close to The Teddy Bear Factory, Shelburne Museum, Shelburne Farms and a short drive to many hiking areas including the famous Long Trail. We also have a slew of Micro breweries in the area as well as wineries which make for a nice day trip. There are some very extensive bike trails in the area and we are about 2 miles from the Sand Bar State Park where you can drop a canoe or kayak in. They also rent them there.
