Bonito faces west, over the bay, from the main level of Casa de Huespedes: Jardin de Helena (Helena’s Garden). in a quiet residential neighborhood on the outskirts of town, just 5 minutes’ walk from the center and 2 blocks from San Cristobal’s most popular public beach: Playa Mann. Jardin de Helena is licensed by the Ministry of Tourism to issue salvoconductos. Bonito is a spacious studio with full kitchenette and private bathroom. The picture windows and private balcony face west, over the bay for glorious Galapagos sunsets. Playa Mann beach is just two blocks up the road. With a fully equipped kitchenette, you are as independent as you want to be and we stock the suite with all the cooking essentials plus ingredients for a healthy in-room breakfast. Bonito offers lots of space to spread out and a private balcony to enjoy the view. But birdwatchers in particular may enjoy exploring the 7 undeveloped acres of Helena’s Garden. We live on the premises and are available at any time to ensure you are comfortable and that everything is working. We ask you: PLEASE to let us know, day or night, if there is anything that you need or that needs fixing. We own and operate the Galeodan travel agency and the Vivencial Fishing boat: Leodan. We are happy to offer advice on travel, shopping, eating out and exploring: whether on your own or on a guided tour on San Cristobal or other islands. The Galeodan Bonito Suite is in a private residential neighbourhood just 5 minute’s walk, to the town centre and 2 blocks from Playa Man, the best of several beaches in the vicinity. Puerto Baquerizo Moreno (San Cristobal's main port) is the provincial capital and seat of local government - It features the province's best hospital, an airport right on the edge of town and the archipelago's only naturally occurring fresh water. At the same time, it is unspoilt, with crystal clear waters and public access along the entire waterfront. San Cristobal offers the archipelago’s best surf, all the best offshore fishing banks and the best diving south of Darwin and Wolf islands (150 miles north and accessible only by cruise). While the acknowledged destination of choice for surfers, fishermen and divers, San Cristobal is still overlooked by the major tour operators and average tourist. But that has kept it unspoiled. San Cristobal is arguably the Galapagos' best kept secret. You will find everything is pretty close by: even the airport (less than a mile). So you can walk most places or rent a bike to explore further afield. There is no public transport, such as buses, but there are plenty of taxis. The beaches of Playa Mann and Punta Carola are both within easy walking distance. We waive the extra guest fee for children younger than 12 years.
