The Nest at Crash Boat. Only waterfront on Beach
Enjoy romantic sunsets right on your front steps. The Nest is the only exclusive waterfront property on beautiful Crash Boat Beach. Relax on your very own beachfront deck complete with a shaded hammock area and a lounging sunbed area that complements our cozy air-conditioned studio apartment overlooking the ocean. Our beautiful outdoor garden shower and exterior bathroom are an experience all on their own. Two guest parking spaces are located right on the property for your convenience. Only some 15 to 20 paces take you from your queen bed right to the water. After a swim on the ocean, you can refresh yourself in your private garden shower and then jump in the hammock for a quick afternoon siesta while listening to the crashing waves nearby. Our studio apartment is air-conditioned has a small kitchenette area equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and stocked coffee station. An indoor half-bathroom with a gorgeous beach view is another great way to start your day. You’ll have the place to yourself. Our co-host/property manager lives a short drive away and can help guide you with the reservation process or inquiries and can also help facilitate special service requests like surf lessons, yoga sessions, boat or hiking tours, paddleboard & kayak rentals, and other services. Food vendors can be found on the public beach parking lot during the day, but trendy Cocoloba is the only restaurant at the beach and offers live music on weekends and brunch on special occasions. Reservations are highly suggested. Other great restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacies & places of interest are just a short drive away. Outside the San Juan metro area, uber has not yet flourished so renting a car is highly recommended as taxis can get expensive. Public transportation is very unreliable and hard to come by. Iguanas, small crabs and other, non poison animals such as mosquitoes might be spotted on the premises. These animals are part of our ecosystem and harmless. Jellyfish, although not common, are known to be found on the ocean, mostly during non-summer months. Our beach is fairly protected from currents given its position on the bay. Nonetheless you will swim at your own risk. There are no lifeguards on beach.
