The kitchen has marble countertops, an island for food preparation, breakfast bar & seating, new appliances (large fridge with freezer and ice maker, gas stove), microwave, toaster oven, kettle, coffee maker and is well equipped with dishes, glassware, pots and pans, utensils, cutlery. Relax in the 'Great Room', a family room setting in the center of the house that opens up to the TV room (cable TV w/ movie channels) on one side and a separate dining room on the other. Here you can relax or enjoy a meal as you view the sea, read a book, play games or just lounge. The property is clean and well maintained, the house surrounded by lush greenery. Separate office with 2 desks & chairs. High speed internet and free local calls. Central powder bathroom. Laundry room with washer and dryer for guest use. Open doors/windows allow gentle breezes to flow through the house with ceiling and floor fans located throughout. House is equipped with security cameras & lights. Weekly cleaning service provided for all stays over 7 nights. No events or parties. No smoking. GUEST WELCOME: Upon arrival you will be welcomed with a complimentary refreshment by our Property Manager June who will familiarize you with the house and answer any questions you may have. TRANSPORTATION: Exploring the island is easy, everything is just a short distance away. Car hires are available. ZR mini-vans ($3.50 Bds or $1.75 US) run up and down the coast road as do local buses in/out of Bridgetown. Taxis are reasonable and plentiful and you can arrange pick-ups / drop-offs to the beach, restaurants, the airport or other destinations, including island tours with them. OTHER: Rate includes Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) mandatory nightly tax of 10% (USD). The house limit is 6, but 7 may be considered with prior approval and at an extra cost of $35 US per person/per night. A single cot is available. Electricity charge of $0.65/per kWh applies IF guests go over the 30 kWh daily allowance included in the nightly rate. Check-in / check-out times are flexible depending on availability. Check-in or check-out before 7 am or after 8 pm will be subject to a service charge of $50 US ($100 BDS) payable directly to our Property Manager upon arrival/departure.
