Petite La Pompe is a cute studio apartment beneath our house in La Pompe, Bequia. The view across Friendship Bay to Battowia and Baliceaux is spectacular. We live on the property and can show you around the island if you would like. We can pick you up from the ferry dock or the airport. We're musicians and are well-known on Bequia...and we have a (very friendly) dog. Bequia is a wonderful little island. Some describe it as being how the Caribbean used to be. You'll love it! The apartment consists of a bedroom/living area/kitchen combination with a separate bathroom. There is a large veranda with dining furniture, lounging furniture and hammocks. The apartment is fully equipped: queen-size bed, tv, electric piano, fridge, cooker, kettle, food processor, coffee machine, and as much cutlery and crockery as you can handle. The washing machine is outside, under the stairs. We supply snorkelling equipment and beach towels. The studio apartment, Petite La Pompe, is beneath our house, but has its own separate entrance. The whole house is situated in an attractive, fenced, garden. You can relax on your large private veranda. If we're around, and everyone is in the mood, maybe you'd like to share a beer or a glass of something with us upstairs on our veranda. La Pompe is a very friendly local village, overlooking Friendship Bay. Friendship Bay beach is a five minute walk away; Lower Bay beach and Princess Margaret beach are 30 minutes walk away. Port Elisabeth is a 40 minute walk. Alternatively, there are the local dollar vans which pass the road below our house, or you can hire a taxi. If we are available, we can even drop you off somewhere in the car. Local 'dollar vans' pass along the road below our house. There are also many taxis available. We will collect you from the ferry dock or the airport upon your arrival, and take you back there when you leave.
