20 meters from Popoyo beach and 5 minutes walk to Nicaragua's most famous surf break, TwoTenº is a simple yet stylish surf house in Playa Guasacate - Nicaragua. Our twin house is fully equipped with everything you need for your surf & chill vacation: a double bed and a single bed (up to 3 people) under palm leaf roof, a shared kitchen to cook with an ocean view and a terrace with hammocks to spend time outside – waiting for the next swell with the perfect direction for surf Popoyo - 210° SW. TwoTenº Surf Home is your home away in Popoyo. The apartment - half of the twin house - is a beach house built with a lot of attention to create a tranquil oasis on Playa Guasacate, Nicaragua. Our location is extraordinary! We are located in front of the Pacific Ocean, 5 minutes from World class surf breaks in a quiet and peaceful beach community. In our apartment you will have everything you need. On the property there is also another house as well as one more apartment with whom you share a kitchen. NICE GARDEN TO CHILL OR STRETCH AFTER SURF Outside of your apartment, there is a nice garden with shade and floors where you relax, do stretches before and after your surf sessions or work out if you still haven't had enough. OCEAN FRONT HAMMOCKS TO RELAX Need a place to relax? There are plenty of hammocks around! Just bring a good book and enjoy the tranquility of the place. OUR HOSTS : BEN & CLAUDIO FROM ITALY TwoTen is a dream that came true for us. My best friend Claudio and I, Ben, are happy to welcome you at our cosy beach houses at Playa Guasacate. During the year, at least one of us lives on the property at all times. We will be all happy to give you recommendations for things to do around, indications for surf popoyo or just hang out in our beautiful garden. GUASACATE FEELS LIKE HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Playa Guasacate is a small village directly by the sea with a relaxed vibe and great people. What we love about this place is that it is small, but still has (almost) everything you need: there are a handful of local and international restaurants, a couple of bars, a mini supermarket, surf rentals and of course - the famous surf breaks of Popoyo. POPOYO : PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS AND PRO SURFERS Here, in Popoyo, you can find a surf break for every skill level: whether you want to learn how to surf or are a pro already, there are 4 surf breaks in walking distance plus many more around to be reached by bike, car or boat. LIVE THE NICA LIFE & EAT FRESH FOOD The only thing we do not have here are an ATM and a big supermarket. So make sure you bring enough cash and stock up on your favourite foods before joining us on the beach! There are, however, little fruit and veggie trucks passing by almost every day so don't worry about your daily intake of fresh produce! HOW TO GET TO PLAYA GUASACATE - NICARAGUA Guasacate is a bit of a remote place (exactly what you are looking for, right?) To get here, you will need to go through Rivas, which is the next bigger city on the main highway going through Nicaragua. We are about an hour from Rivas, about two and a half hours from Managua and about two hours from the Costa Rican border. YOU CAN ARRIVE BY MANAGUA OR LIBERIA To get here, you can fly either to Managua, Liberia (CR) or San Jose (CR). We are happy to help you organise your transport or the best way to get here! WALK OR RENT A MOTO OR SCOOTER In Guasacate, you can walk everywhere. If you want to explore the area, it is recommendable to get your own transportation. You could rent a car or there are plenty of options to rent a scooter or motorbike here at the beach. THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT PLAYA GUASACATE The magic thing about Playa Guasacate is that it's an authentic - not crowded - beach with commodities for tourism. This little village, where nicaraguan people are mix with travellers from around the world - is still the real Nicaragua and we love it! This also means that it's a little bit rustic and that not so developed yet. TAKE OUT CASH - ATM MACHINE Please note that there is no ATM in town so make sure you bring enough cash for your stay. If you need to take out cash, there is a cash machine 20 minutes from the house. CLEANING & LAUDRY SERVICE We offers the cleaning of our house 2 times a week. We have a laundry service: 3$ for 12 pieces of laundry. FOOD, RESTAURANTS & MARKET There is a mini market - just in front of TwoTen houses - and others little local markets around. If you want to cook at the house, our advice, would be to stock up on some items on the road to come to Playa Guasacate. There is a market - Maxi Pali - where you can find a lot of things, located in Rivas, 1 hour from Guasacate (Rivas is on your way from Managua aeroport, so you can stop by with the taxi). Where you can go eat? For less than 10 minutes walk, you can find pizza, thai food, curry, burgers, sandwiches and more. There is nice Nicaraguan restaurants around where you can get to know the famous gallo pinto. *We provide you drinkable water on site. Otherwise, bring enough sunscreen and your favorite book of the moment and you are good to go!
