We take great pride in our work and go out of our way to make your trip a great experience, This apartment has two bedrooms (ONE with A/C - one with fan and hammock), two bathroom and has been furnished with love to host up to 2 people. A/C unit is in the room, the rest of the house has fans. As in most of the houses at the caribbean there is NOT hot water at the apartment, sometimes temperature is so hot that you wish cold water be colder. Its a familiar building with 6 apartments, mine is on the third floor (stairs), filled with art from around the world, comfort, good energy and a smart location for people who want to enjoy Cartagena as a local. Its located in Bocagrande. two blocks away from the house is the beach, which is a great place to spend the day. You can rent a tent and enjoy a massage (should always negotiate the price before). Close to the house (5 min. Walk) there is a supermarket "Carulla" and just on the corner its a Pizza shop "Di Silvio" which have our favorite pizza in town! Two blocks away you will find the Avenue "San Martin", which crosses the entire tourist sector of Bocagrande, comes from the old town and finishes at the sea. It is the avenue where you will find restaurants, souvenirs and shopping. The real magic of Cartagena is in the old town, just go there and walk and walk. In the Murralla (great wall) you should go to "Cafe del Mar" to enjoy the sunset. Make a walk in the squares of San Pedro, San Diego, Santo Domingo, Inquisition, and of course the churches. Leaving the old town 5 minutes away walking, is located Getsemani (another neighborhood) which is small but with great energy. Remember the pizza place we love that's one block away from our home?Well, there is another "Di Silvio" in Getsemani. Nearby there is a bar called "demente" and there is also a very good disco bar called "Cafe Havana" pure salsa!! Hope you enjoy the apartment and the city. Juan If you catch a taxi at the airport it will charge $ 22.000 pesos to the house, (the taxis are not metered, so before getting into the car should talk to the driver to check price), not worth more than $ 22.000, but if you walk one block away from the airport to the main road and catch a taxi, it only costs $ 10.000 pesos. A taxi from my house to the old town is worth $ 8.000 don't pay more than that. The return is the same value.
