Stores are closed on Sunday. If your arrival is after 6:30 pm on Saturday or on Sunday we'll do your grocery shopping for you - just send us a list, there is no charge for our time. For your convenience I have also arranged a special deal with a local car rental agency for those who might desire it. For those who will be renting for seven days you will get your seventh day free. Additionally, if you pay with traveler’s checks or cash you will receive a 5% discount. Bicycles for pleasure use (not as primary transportation) and fishing poles come with the property rental. You can also use the kayaks, snorkeling gear ($50/week) and more. You have access to everything inside the unit and everything outside. We'll contact you before your arrival and supply you with all the information you'll possibly need to plan your trip. We'll help you reserve a rental car at the best possible rate. Then we'll meet you at the airport when you arrive and walk with you to the rental car. You'll follow us to the guest house. We'll explain everything you'll need to know about the property. We'll get you set up with properly sized high quality snorkel gear. This property is on the west end (north side) of the island and has great sunsets. It is on a dead-end street with only four more houses until the road ends so there isn't much traffic on the street. The very best snorkeling on the island is at a place called fish bowl which is 50 yards away. The sunken Russian frigate is only 1/4 of a mile away at Buccaneers Cut which has a ladder entry into the water. You can do a drift snorkel form Buccaneers Cut to the property - very cool! There is a sandy beach from the west edge of the property to the very west end of the island. The main area of the island is just 1/2 of a mile away where there is a supermarket, a bar/restaurant, packaged goods store, the bank, and a chicken stand. We highly recommend a car rental. We will email you information on our favorite rental agency which has the best prices on the island. I guarantee that! They will give you a 5% cash discount, the seventh rental day free and BECAUSE you're staying with us - they will give you an upgrade for free. It's Inexpensive - about US$ 225 per week (a little less for summer / fall). If you use a credit card than you may get insurance for free - you should check into that (also check the policy you have for rental coverage - bring your policy# with you). If you still need or want insurance then the cost is about $8.75 a day. I also have bikes for you to use for FREE. They are for recreational use and not for your main transportation. If you don't rent a car and use the bikes as you primary transportation then i will charge you $10 per bike per day, otherwise they will be FREE. We will email you a welcome letter with a lot of useful information. In the information you will find the house rules which include smoking outside only.
