The terrace extends across the entire front of the house, because you'll want to see and feel the ocean and its fresh breeze. Also, the house was designed so everyone has space to read, play and listen to music, play and lounge without infringement. Playa Negra is about 1.5 km away from Puerto Viejo downtown, a nice 15 minute walk along the beach or a 5 minute bike ride. There is a small convenience store, just 5 minute walk from the house. A variety of typical and international restaurants can be found in Puerto Viejo and its surroundings. The best way to get around the area are bikes, taxi or a rental car. There is also a public bus station nearby. The public bus is cheap and runs regularly. For check-ins after 7PM, there is a late-checkin charge of 30$
