There are views on both sides of the island. To the north is the turquoise waters of West Bay Beach and to the south is the Iron Shore and expansive ocean view. On a clear day you can even see Cayos Cochinos and the mainland of Honduras. There is no need to argue over the best bedroom - Each master suite is on the main floor and is complete with a king size bed and luxurious sheets, comforters, pillows and towels. All three ensuite bathrooms have his and her sinks and outdoor showers with oversized rainheads. Each bedroom has large sliding doors leading to your own private balcony - perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails! The upper floor is entertainment central, with ample indoor and outdoor spaces. The rooftop deck is a guest favorite! Outside the double doors is the covered dining table and BBQ area, which leads to the outdoor living and lounging area, and the best part - the infinity edge pool overlooking West Bay Beach! You have the option to sip cocktails on the deck while watching the passing cruise ships to the south, or enjoy the pool and reef view to the north. There is a complete gourmet kitchen that includes: - a stainless steel gas range - French door refrigerator - beverage fridge - dishwasher - microwave - blender - coffee maker and filters - french press and a coffee grinder - an island fit for a queen (or king)! This fully stocked space includes all the amenities with the highest quality cookware, utensils, flatware, glasses and place settings. If you decide to eat in and enjoy grilling, you will appreciate cooking on the Weber grill just outside the double sliding doors. The cozy living room is perfect for a rainy day or an evening watching Netflix. There are both indoor and outdoor dining spaces - just in case the weather isn't cooperating - with seating for 8 at both tables. There is ample parking, a private entrance, an amazing infinity edge rooftop pool, outdoor and indoor living and dining areas, a fully stocked kitchen and all the room you would need! Our villas are located in the island's premier community of Lighthouse Estates, a short 5 minute walk down the hill to West Bay Beach - Voted #1 beach in Central America by TripAdvisor. There are many awesome restaurants, coffee shops and beach dining options along West Bay Beach. A short water taxi ride and you can enjoy the eclectic town of West End! There is no need to rent a car if you would like to explore West Bay or West End. A short walk down the hill and you are on one of the top rated beaches in Central America! From West Bay you can hop in a water taxi to West End and spend an afternoon shopping, eating or just relaxing. Local taxi drivers and chartered buses are available if you want to continue relaxing but still explore the rest of the island! For the more adventurous travelers a vehicle could be rented to explore all the other beautiful attractions Roatan has to offer. West Bay Beach is located just down the hill from us. It's about a 5 minute walk down to the #1 beach on the island! The pool is private and you are the only ones who have access to it. The washer and dryer are free for normal use. In our effort to conserve energy and our natural resources - air conditioning use in the bedrooms during the evenings (from 7 pm - 7 am) as well as in the Great Room (during the day) is included, however many of our guests have found that our typical breezes don't require the use of air conditioning. Additional usage can be discussed upon arrival if desired. We have solar panels on the villa, so there is no charge for normal electricity consumption (see note above re: air conditioning). We do ask to turn off all the lights and air conditioning when you leave.
