Quiet rural setting on 10 acres, nestled in the little Rocky Mountain town of Pagosa Springs. You have your own one bedroom apartment that is 45 minutes to downhill skiing, 5 minutes to cross country skiing. Hiking or horsebacking from our gate. You are welcome to bring your pups and even board your horses (boarding fee applies)during your stay. Shops, great restaurants and of course, the hot springs, all within 15 minutes or less. There are 5 steps up your deck. Casual, Cozy and close to everything Pagosa. You'll have wraparound views of Mt ranges, pastoral setting and spectacular star gazing! The apartment is attached to our home with a private entrance. We love all animals but our place is not set up or safe for cats. We have dogs that have a big dog yard in back of house. They will be kept in their yard if host not home. They are allowed within our 10 fenced acres with us. Introductions by me with dogs and guests will make friends fur-ever. Please do not try to go in their yard or make friends without me there. They are protective. Guests dogs to be on leash due to horses and chickens. Green space adjoining propery can be off leash. Again, owner responsible for their own animals. Guests have a back porch to themselves at the entrance to apartment. Also a shared picnic area. Parking for trailers up to 24 foot gooseneck and apx 15 foot bumper pull can easily be arranged. Trailer height could be an issue- Need to verify that with us please. Laundry available once a week, day to be agreed upon. Pagosa Springs is a wonderfully mellow, casual small town. Dogs can be allowed if we talk about dog(s) at booking and prior to check in. Please keep dogs on leash, due to horses, other dogs, property animals. Visiting dogs not to be left unattended in apartment unless in a crate. Guests to pick up after their own dog(s) feces please. $100 per dog per stay. Guests are responsible for their visiting dog/horse (s). Great places to take them hiking/riding . We want pups and ponies to have a good vacation too!
