In January of 2022, we refreshed the furniture in the main room with two beautiful new sofas and a gorgeous six-seater Monsoon dining set. The kitchen was also replenished and a new barbecue has been installed on the main lanai. New wireless Sonos speakers are in every room, and new PlayStation 4 and Xbox consoles are situated under the new big screen TV in the mainroom. The condo has 3 TV's in total, two are connected to Spectrum cable and the internet. Country Club Villas has the fastest Spectrum broadband package available on the island. Due to the heavy demand and popularity of our unit, we have hired a new cleaning crew that works as a team to a very high standard and is better able to manage the demand of same day turnovers, which are common for our unit. It's modern and spacious with fabulous views in every direction. Tennis courts and swimming pools with whirlpools are steps from your door. Shops, restaurants, the cinema, post office, drug store, urgent care and more are 5 minutes away on foot or two minutes by car. Two favorite beaches nearby are Kaluhu'u, with some of Hawaii's best snorkeling, and Magic Sands, loved for sunbathing, boogie boarding and surfing. Right next door to Country Club Villas is The Kona Country Club. It offers a breathtaking 18-hole golf course which is open to the public. The club has no formal arrangements with surrounding complexes, but if you tell them you're staying at Country Club Villas and ask for an 'O'hana' Rate, you may get a discount on greens fees. There's so much to see and do locally and further afield but with the unbeatable views from your two lanais, the comfort and elegance of the fully modernized and spacious interior and its high ceilings, and the amenities that come with this bright and cheerful end unit, you may not want to go anywhere else at all. While it is certainly possible to stay completely local at the unit, the Big Island is vast and most visitors will want to have their own rental car. Even the Kona Coast offers a beautiful 10 minute leisurely drive into the center of town, making a car both convenient and essential for those wanting to get out and about. Our unit comes with 3 dedicated parking spaces for our guests. Each is marked with our unit number, which is 342. There are two parking lots at Country Club Villas. Ours is the smaller parking lot near the tennis courts. It's unmarked and is the first you will see on your right as you approach the complex on Ali'i Drive from Kamehameha III Road. Our condo is seconds from where you park. If you find yourself in the central parking lot, you've gone too far and will want to turn around. Guests are supported by the owner's mother who lives nearby and has been managing the unit for over 10 years.
