You can also save some money and fly into the resort area of Cancun, which is about a three hour drive from the Villa; it is also served by a luxury bus that travels from Cancun to Merida. Historic Merida is a city dating back to the 1600's with amazing original architecture in the Centro district. Experience music and dancing or on Sunday morning rent a bike and tour the city on several streets closed just for bicycling.
