The home is nestled between Mt Kenya and the Aberdares in a rural location on a mixed farm. All bedrooms are en suite with double beds; sitting and dining rooms are spacious and fitted with a cosy fireplace; kitchen is spacious and fully equipped; outdoor bar/sitting area fitted with a pool table. Also available is a campsite/picnic site for 30 people and wedding grounds for upto 700 people. This is a unique homestay that offers privacy in a quiet rural setting. Guests have full access to every area of the home including the farm. Kahiga Homestay gives guests space and privacy. However, I am available when needed. Kahiga Homestay is located within a rural village whose main activity is dairy cattle and coffee farming. Macadamia growing is another farming activity within the farm. Kahiga Homestay is about 150 meters off a major highway that is served by public transport. Adequate parking is available within the home. Guests are expected to observe all rules set by the Homestay.
