The upstairs apartment has windows in every room (even the bathroom and walk-in closet), high speed Wi-Fi, a private entrance with a digital lock - self check-in, come and go in privacy. Three blocks to great mountain biking and hiking trails, and three blocks to the historic downtown area with great restaurants, shops, 3 breweries, a distillery, Ice Cream shop, cinema including the Myrna Loy Theatre and the Grand Street Community Theatre. It has a full kitchen for long- or short-term stays. The apartment is unique - separate rooms for the kitchen, bedroom, TV/living room, office area and walk-in closet off the bedroom, newly remodeled bathroom, and hallway, all with windows to take advantage of sunny Helena and providing a very "homey" feeling. It has a completely private entrance with a digital lock. A welcome basket with some snack items for the first day, some cold drinks in the refrigerator, most standard condiments, coffee pot with extra filters, ground coffee, cream, sugar, tea, and other extras. Free parking on the street in front of the house. The apartment allows social isolation as desired - the entrance is private, and the digital dead bolt lock allows self-checkin at any time of the day. The entrance area is our laundry room, which is available free for your use. We utilize Airbnb's cleaning and sanitizing guidelines, and provide the use of hand sanitizer, gloves and masks. We're usually at home, if not hiking or biking - if you have questions, please let us know - we try not to be intrusive. The Mansion District has some beautiful homes over 100 years old, that were built by millionaires and are still well maintained. The apartment has maps for walking tours, and lots of traveler info for Helena and Montana. Helena was founded 150 years ago during a gold rush and has a rich history - search for the website called "Helena as She Was" to see some amazing photos over 150 years old. Our house is right in the middle of this history. Uber is available In Helena, so you can fly in and never use a car. Walk to all of Downtown and hike the trails, and save the expense. No charge for a child under 10; don't list them as one of the guests, but the guest limit is still three total - unless, if you have an infant or toddler that can use the porta-crib, they don't need to be listed either, and can be in addition to the "three guest limit." In addition to the porta-crib, we have a high-chair, stroller, and other baby/infant/toddler supplies. Our patio has a fireplace with a pizza oven that we share with guests - see the pictures. If you have bikes, you're welcome to stash them on the patio so they're out of sight, rather than on a bike rack on your car. If you're visiting Helena on a ski vacation, you can stash your gear in the laundry room, or upstairs in the spacious hallway. The closest ski areas are Great Divide (about 45 minutes away), Discovery (about 1 hour), and Showdown (about 1 1/2 hours).
