Casa Azul Del Mar is on one of the best stretches of beach with a view of the pier. Enjoy our heated pool year round. The beach is great for swimming, walking and collecting shells. A short walk will bring you to Chuburna Centro where you can find restaurants and shops. The casa has 2 rooms, each room has a queen bed, hammock, kitchen and bathroom. Each room also has a private front entrance and doors to the veranda.This space is great for families or for couples. Casa Azul Del Mar is a unique home on the beach with a heated pool you can use year round. A beautiful mural adorns the walls of the house along the Entrada to the beach. The mural was painted by local Artist Rosy Peraza and is dedicated to the people of Chuburna, it depicts the life, culture and folklore of our lovely fishing village. Ocean views abound from the beachside bedrooms and from the front yard and Veranda beachside. Lay in bed at night and listen to the ocean waves and wake up in the morning and look out the large windows at the ocean. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the veranda which offers both shade and sun as well as stairs down to the beach. The beach offers swimming, wading, walking, collecting shells or just playing in the sun with friends or family. The house is uniquely set up as two small studio apartments. Each room or apartment has it’s own kitchen, bathroom, queen size bed and hammock. While each room has its own private entrance and door to the veranda, the two rooms also have a door between them that can be locked for privacy or left open and unlocked. There are two Palapas, a large patio, grass and gardens. Relax on bar swings at the bar while sipping cocktails or BBQ and enjoy a big family dinner at the tables under the palapa. Our outdoor space has lots of places to sit and relax: basket swings, hammock, lounge chairs bar swings and a swinging bed. It is a fun place to hangout with the family, eat dinner and take in the ocean views. The front yard is fully fenced and you can bring your dog for a small extra fee. We are on the beach and you can walk to the pier. The village center is a two minute walk. You can find small stores, restaurants, playground, basketball courts and a soccer field. By car, Chelem is 10 minutes away, Progresso is 20 minutes away, Merida is 45 minutes and the airport is 55 minutes. Mayan ruins, cenotes, fishing trips and kayak adventures await. It’s usually most convenient for guests to have a car. The closest grocery is in Progresso about 20 minutes and Costco is just 45 minutes away in Merida. There are often times markets and produce stands along the main road in Chuburna and Chelem.
