This is a haven in the idealic city of Zomba, with a fantastic view of Zomba Mountain, all the way to Mulanje Mountain, Lake Chilwa (on a clear day) and Zomba town. Monkey's Nest is a great place to just sit back after a long day . If you feel like doing some yoga in the garden or just going for a walk along the mountain road taking in nature's bounty. After a long day doing business, you can settle down in a comfortable space and make yourself a snack. The space is made unique by the wonderfully green garden, shaded and visited by monkey families. The rooms are great and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked. When you visit you will not want to leave, you may not even want to go to town... ;) Guests can access the whole house except each other's rooms. The house is self-catering. I am currently outside the country and if am around am usually at work or running around but if you guys want to chat, I am definitely alright with that! There is however a full time caretaker, Mussah who resides in the compound with his family. Villa Kupa, Casa Rosa (Italian restaurant that offers the excellent and unique Italian dishes and might I add - has amazing hosts) and Annie’s Lodge Taxi (we can arrange for taxi drivers who offer reasonable prices) and motorbikes. For those that like walking, there is a nice walking trail that goes through the Botanical garden and a nice stream (another great view) There is a full time caretaker (Mussah) at the house to attend to needs of the guest such as cleaning and washing. In addition there is a guard at night to ensure security at all times.
