You will see gorgeous, vibrant sunsets over lake Ypacarai, and sometimes the entire lake erupts with color reflected from the sun. The main bed is a king-size bed. You also have an extra single bed in an adjacent hallway (foam mattress). For your laptop, there is a table with bench, electrical outlet and work surface. The bathroom features two mirrors (including a lighted vanity makeup mirror), glass bowl sink, wall hung toilet, instant hot water enclosed shower with curtain, as well as towels and basic toiletries. You have exclusive, anytime access to a swimming pool with underwater lighting for swimming under the stars. You are free to wander about the many gardens, groves of fruit trees (lemon, mango, orange, banana and more) and bamboo thickets. You will discover a fish pond teeming with tilapia, plus an open fire-pit with BBQ grill for your enjoyment. There is also a shared wraparound sundeck that you have access to, and the view is spectacular, especially during sunset. We are a multicultural family, I speak 4 languages (Sichuan, Mandarin, Cantonese and English) and my husband also speaks English, Chinese, Spanish and a bit of French. Plus, there is a friendly German couple living in a separate house on the same property. So there are many opportunities to interact with friendly people if that's what you are looking for. Some guests prefer more privacy, and I respect that too. The suite has it's own private entrance. About two to three minutes down the road you will find a convenience store called Biggie - they have all the basics that most of guests want. Just before the Biggie is a small grocery store with a full bakery, butcher, fresh produce, and pre-made items, it is a seven-minute walk. Also on the same street, (drive for 5 minutes) there is a large Super 6 supermarket, it has a good selection. The towns of Altos and San Bernardino are close (about 5 minutes by public transportation). San Bernardino has many restaurants, bars, fast food (ice cream, German bakeries, Burger King, etc.) along the lakefront. On summer weekends, the area is especially busy and you'll find even more variety of entertainment and dining options during the summer holiday season. You can park your car in our outdoor, securely gated driveway. Convenient public bus transportation stops right at the driveway and goes to Ypacarai, Itagua, Capiata, San Lorenzo and all the way to Asuncion. Bus also goes to San Bernardino and Altos.
