Apartment is not a walk out to pool patio. It is 14 steps from your door to pool. We do not accept more than two travelers. Rate does not include HI St taxes or Airbnb fees charged to traveler which we do not control. DO NOT request an exception to our minimum age or total head count or pet/smoking policy. The guest space is best described as an apartment with all the amenities you would expect in an apartment including but not limited to, required private off street parking, a private separate entrance, kitchen, living room, bedroom,bath. Laundry access is a shared space and available upon request only. NOTE -pool patio access is 14 steps from your entrance and is not directly adjacent to the pool. Please note that we no longer accept travelers under the age of 30 excluding existing reservations or return previous guests. Our home is best suited to mature responsible travelers. NO INFANTS/babies or travelers under age of 30 allowed. We no longer accept more than two travelers. A minimum age of 30 or older is now required to book / stay here. Guests are fully responsible for any damages incurred including stains to soft seating, linens and damages to furniture. Guests are responsible for any damages caused and for any missing items from the residence. Street parking is NOT permitted - guests are REQUIRED to park in the guest driveway - NO EXCEPTIONS. Please plan your travel accordingly as we do not guarantee any offer to accommodate an early check in or late check out. We do not accept reservation requests outside Airbnb. Two night minimum stay. We now have two ocean kayaks available for guest use and enjoyment. We are happy to transport kayaks to suitable put in location and guests can enjoy at their leisure. This can be arranged weekdays only with advance request. Welcome to Ka-Iwi-Pele, the backbone of Pele. We are best suited to welcome couples and mature travelers. Our home is adjacent to an archeological canoe heaiou and Botanical Garden. Ancient Petroglyphs, poi pounders and ballast are all located on our property. Completely renovated and highly upgraded space. This Oasis in Kona is located just a short distance from downtown and offers a quaint resort-like feel with Island style backyard complete with shady pergola, two Weber grills, oversized deck and lagoon pool. As you enter the property you will be greeted by the tranquil sounds of the pool waterfall and tropical birds. The poolside pergola offers the perfect place to relax , BBQ and dine under the stars. A great location with room for everyone. Many Features include: Solar Hot Water- Upgraded space - Fruit orchard and herb garden ( we do not control seasonality of fruit and do not guarantee any planted herbs fruits will be producing at the time of your visit - Outdoor shower -Weber BBQs- deck - Grass lawn - yard. Covered pergola has intimate seating. There is also patio dining and poolside seating. With a private pool, amazing ocean views, verdant gardens and fruit trees (subject to seasonality), you will fee like you are at your own exclusive hideaway. The apartment/or ohana as called in Hawaii area is exclusive use to the guest and not a shared space. Guests have a private separate driveway to park and a private secure entrance. There are wonderful ocean views from all rooms and from the patio. Beach chairs, coolers , beach umbrella, beach toys all available for guest enjoyment (subject to acceptable condition and local availability where replacement is required). Guests arriving with more than two travelers and/or with infants will not be accepted or permitted to check in. No infants or travelers under the age of 30 years old accepted. We no longer provide bikes for guest use. All areas including BBQs, pool, grounds, laundry, off street parking in separate private driveway is required. Street parking is strictly prohibited for guests. One vehicle max permitted. We are available to help with any needs or questions at any hour day or night but we highly respect our guests privacy. Our home is located on a beautiful private street but walking distance to the beach . Note the walk back is uphill and may be strenuous for the average person. We are located approximately two miles to town center. We do ask that our guests respect the neighborhood tranquility. Quite hours are 9PM - 8AM and strictly enforced. Pool is available all hours and we simply ask that guests are respectful of the quite hours if using during the quite hours. Rental car is highly recommended although taxis and ride sharing options are convenient No smokers welcome. NO TRAVELERS UNDER 30 WELCOME. We prefer mature responsible travelers. Guests are responsible for all damages incurred not reported including stains to soft furniture, linens, damages to wood furniture as a result of not using coasters, lost missing property including property keys. Please be respectful of our home - treat it the way you would want perfect strangers to treat your home. We have outdoor kitties.
