Just 2 miles east of Vet school, on busline (see the tcat website for schedule), single room with private bath or shared bath (one single, one queen) in quiet home, shared kitchen, wifi, great deck with birds and woods, sweet summer porch with white wicker furniture, near hiking paths, Cayuga Lake, waterfalls, summer music and theatre, wineries. No smokers, please. There is one indoor-outdoor cat who lives here. Guests should have a car or private means of transportation Within 4 miles of my home: Ithaca has more exotic restaurants than ... plus brew pubs, coffee shops, wineries with brunch, lunch or dinner, to music, and concerts in so many venues, outdoors in the summer, dance under the stars, 3 + theatres in town. Art Galleries, art trail in which you visit the artist in their studios, green homes tour, garden tours, Fall Creek neighborhood music festival (every musician plays on their front porch and the audience walks or bikes from porch to porch), swim under the waterfall at Buttermilk or Treman or in Cayuga Lake, rent a kayak downtown. Cornell Arboretum,Lab of Ornithology. Johnson Art Museum. Corning Museum of Glass is an hour away, world class from historical to modern. Local events are at (website hidden). Kitchen, beautiful deck overlooking woods. May be upgraded to private bath room if that one is available on your night. I live in the house. Safe suburb. Near Plantations walking paths. The house is 2 miles east of Cornell, easy drive but the bus route in not frequent so you shculd have a car.
