Solbacka is available for your summer holiday. This Cozy Countryside home near Nybro, Kalmar and the Glasriket was built in 1902. It was recently refurbished entirely, as a family project, uniting American and Swedish cousins. 3 or 4 comfortable bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths are available for you in a spacious house in the small residential community of Kristvallabrunn. This is a great location for a family or business retreat. This newly renovated home is available for singles, couples, families or business travelers. We have had corporate guests use the home for team building and retreats. It was once home to the only store in the small village of Kristvallabrunn, you will see leanings toward the store in the home decor. Solbacka, "Sunny Hill" in Swedish, is in a beautiful country setting. It may be the perfect spot for a small corporate group or the business traveler. The home is close to the road, and you may notice noise from occasional cars, local farms and wildlife. Our neighbors have chickens! The East side of the home, has a comfortable deck and sun porch where you can share seasonal meals and coffee looking out at the garden, small fruit orchard and forest. You are welcome to pick seasonal flowers. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of room for sitting around the large farm table in the dining room or lounging in the living area or deck. There are two full bathrooms with showers, no bathtub, and one half-bath. Laundry facilities are available. Linens and towels are provided for an additional fee of 150sek per stay. Solbacka is your home away from home. Depending on how many guests are in your party, some spaces may be closed to your use. One of the owners or caretakers of the home will be available for you in person, by phone, or by text message. The community of Kristvallabrunn is surrounded by forests for all to enjoy. There are many dairy farms nearby, and small neighborhoods for walking. You are finding yourself in the delightful Swedish countryside, which is beautiful year-round. You must arrive via car or bicycle. Solbacka is located 15 minutes from the Nybro Central Station, and just 30 minutes from Kalmar's Central Station or the Kalmar/Oland Airport. It is necessary to bring your groceries, or have a car available. The nearest market is 10 kilometers. Walking trails, historical sites, and the Crystal Kingdom are yours! Enjoy Southern Sweden.
